many questions... Posted: Sat August 15, 2009 09:49 PM UTC
I am thinking of going to Nerja for Spanish Lessons (Sept/Oct 2009)
1. I'm 38 years old and traveling alone--will most people be much older than me since it is the off-season? Have heard it is preferred by English Snowbirds!
2. I'm thinking 4 weeks--too long? too short?
3. Are there local outdoor markets? And what about street food (vendors) this time of year?
Any and all responses would be appreciated--thanks!

Apartment nr Carabeillo Beach Posted: Thu April 23, 2009 03:42 PM UTC
Am boggle eyed from looking at apartments on the web. Looking for recommendations for near as poss frontline 2 bed rental near Carabeillo beach. Pals staying in the Edificio Burriana so ideally somewhere near there with communal pool, sea views if poss and quick walk to beach. 2 adults & 2 kids.I am not familiar with Nerja but my pals have advised stick to this area rather than go west or further towards Burriana. Have been very impressed with service from local agents but blinded by choice now. Any recommendations from you guys for particular properties or any advice on Verde Mar, Bajamar II, Alamar 1 or Edificio Burriana itself. What are the Rocamar Apartments like? Thanks.

Nerja in November Posted: Mon August 18, 2008 11:26 PM UTC
We normally visit Nerja in February but this year are thinking of November. Are all the shops and restaurants we have found open in February likely to be open in November or is this is the time they shut for their own holidays? Many thanks.

Laundry & Internet Posted: Mon July 14, 2008 01:55 PM UTC
Hello all,
My trip is still 3 1/2 mths away but I'm already counting the days.
Can anyone tell me if there are Laundry mats in either Nerja or Maro & where they are located? Does Nerja (Maro may be too small) have internet cafe's? I would like to be able to download pics from a digital camera but I won't have access to a computer unless I can find an internet cafe. Also, can someone tell me about what fresh produce markets are in the area & open in November - either in Nerja or Maro. I believe there is one in Nerja but there seems some confusion of what day(s) it is open.
Thanks a lot.

Day tours around Nerja Posted: Tue December 4, 2007 11:22 AM UTC
We are visiting Nerja for a week during the Christmas of 2007. Are there any interesting places near Nerja which one could visit on an organised tour? How far is Granada from Nerja? Can it be done on a day tour basis? Can some one recommend any reliable companies which operate sight seeing tours?

Nerja in November Posted: Tue October 30, 2007 03:07 PM UTC
Hi , My husband and myself are thinking of going to Nerja in mid November for one week.
We stayed in Nerja last June for two weeks and really enjoyed it .
But of course it was great weather , very warm and you could walk around in your summer clothes and go for a swim.
I am just worried that in November it will be too quiet and maybe a bit boring.
Are all bars, irish pubs and restaurants are open ?
How is the weather usally in November ? Do you need to bring jumpers ?
Thanks for your reply.
Kind regards ,
Marion
