Nerja PARKING IN NERJA
Posted: Fri March 14, 2008 02:42 AM UTC
Hi, I'm coming to Nerja on 13 April 2008 to go the Escuela de Idiamos (Language School). Can anybody tell me what street parking is like or will I have to use a car park. If I use a car park, does anybody have any idea what the charges would be? Will be grateful for any help.

Also, where can I buy cigarettes? I will be staying in Calle San Juan.

Many Thanks, Doug

Nerja Day tours around Nerja
Posted: Tue December 4, 2007 10:22 AM UTC
We are visiting Nerja for a week during the Christmas of 2007. Are there any interesting places near Nerja which one could visit on an organised tour? How far is Granada from Nerja? Can it be done on a day tour basis? Can some one recommend any reliable companies which operate sight seeing tours?

Nerja Nerja in November
Posted: Tue October 30, 2007 02:07 PM UTC
Hi , My husband and myself are thinking of going to Nerja in mid November for one week.
We stayed in Nerja last June for two weeks and really enjoyed it .

But of course it was great weather , very warm and you could walk around in your summer clothes and go for a swim.

I am just worried that in November it will be too quiet and maybe a bit boring.
Are all bars, irish pubs and restaurants are open ?
How is the weather usally in November ? Do you need to bring jumpers ?

Thanks for your reply.
Kind regards ,
Marion

Nerja Staying in Nerja in a few days time... ; )
Posted: Wed September 26, 2007 11:35 AM UTC
Hiya VT

I have enjoyed time in Valencia and currently in Granada. I am planning on heading somewhere next where there is a nice beach as well. I have been to Nerja about 8 years ago as my older sister used to live here, and remember it was very pretty. However I dont seem able to find a hostel where I can share a dorm. with other travellers, any suggestions? I am an English teacher and am ultimately looking to settle in a coastal resort for winter at least..I wonder if Nerja might be right for me, any suggestions?

muchus gracias x

Nerja Christmas in Nerja
Posted: Wed September 12, 2007 10:57 AM UTC
My boyfriend and I are planning on spending christmas in Nerja. Its our first trip to the area so I've lots of questions. Is christmas dinner traditional in Nerja? Can anyone recommend somewhere to have a nice xmas lunch? are shops etc likely to be closed for the day? not worried about shopping per say, but would need to be prepared if everything closes. We may be staying in the CASA EL DUENDE at the Natural Park, in the outskirts of Nerja. has anyone heard of this appartment, and if so, what's it like. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Nerja Supermarkets near Oasis de Capistrano
Posted: Tue July 17, 2007 03:53 PM UTC
Can anyone tell me about supermarkets in the vicinity of the Oasis de Capistrano development? We arrive Saturday evening and it would be helpful to know if any supermarkets will still be open after 6pm, so we can buy essentials for the first couple of days. Alternatively, are there any large "out-of-town" supermarkets (pref. on the east side of town) at which we could stop on the way into Nerja, also after 6pm on a Saturday evening? Any advice will be welcome! Thanks.

Posted: Tue April 3, 2007 09:51 PM UTC
I am looking for some pics of Calle Granada. Cant remember which number but its building next to the open air cinema and last I heard of was a Candle shop. I used to live there when I was 8-9 when my mum and dad ran the snooker pub.

Its Adam writing this if anyone has been in there in the past and remembers me!! We left the pub in about 94 if I remember correctly and then left nerja mis 95.

If anyone is passing please please please take a pic for me. I really want to see what it looks like now.

Thanks!!!

Nerja Eating out new years eve in Nerja
Posted: Wed November 1, 2006 11:38 AM UTC
Can anyone help..... myself and my family (party of 5) are spending the new year in Nerja for the second year running. Unfortunately last year we had terrible problems getting a restaurant as everything was pre-booked up. We like to visit the cafe carrabeo when ever we are in nerja, but they are not open this new year. Can anyone suggest another reasonable priced (but lots of character) restaurant and provide the name, address and phone number so I can book now.

thank you
