Ronda How to get there
Posted: Tue March 22, 2005 05:40 PM UTC
I will be travelling to Spain soon. I will visit Barcelona, Ronda, Granada, Sevilla and Madrid. May I know from which location is better/convenient to travel to Ronda, ie from Barcelona or Granada or Malaga? Is one day sufficient for it? thank you for your help.

Ronda Getting to Ronda by car
Posted: Fri February 4, 2005 02:23 PM UTC
Can anyone advise which is the best way (road) to be taken to get to Ronda. I mean I don't particularly like these hair-raising treacherous mountain roads, so if there is one less electrifying, please feel free to recommend (as I will be traveling all around Andalusia and it is transparent to which place to approach it from – Seville, Cordoba, Malaga, Marbella, or Cadiz). Thanks in advance.

Ronda Studying in Ronda
Posted: Thu May 27, 2004 02:47 AM UTC
I'll be studying Spanish in Ronda from September-December and I was just wondering what it's like there. I never got a chance to talk to someone who's been there about anything other than school. I want to know more about the city.

What are the people like? Are there a lot of bars and clubs in Ronda? Since it's a small city, will I get bored there after a while? Are there a lot of good looking girls in Ronda? I don't think I'll be taking classes with Spanish people so will it be hard for me to meet them?

Ronda Youth Hostel? Hostal for 25 euros or less?
Posted: Mon February 23, 2004 10:57 PM UTC
Hello everyone,

Is there a youth hostel in Ronda? Failing that, something that would be for 25 euros or less per night?

And would I need to reserve in advance? I will be staying there on May 7th.

Thanks!

Ronda Ronda transportation
Posted: Sat February 14, 2004 07:22 PM UTC
I forgot to mention in my previous posting, that I won't be driving. So either train or bus information would be helpful from Tarifa to Ronda to Madrid.
Thanks again

Ronda Ronda Parador
Posted: Wed October 8, 2003 03:51 AM UTC
Three of my friends and myself, all male, are flying to Seville for a short vacation in April. We will be flying out of Barcelona 5 days later. Other than that we have made no plans. After reading about how beautiful Ronda is I am wanting to stay there, preferably at the Ronda Parador. When should we make our reservations? Is that a good choice? We arent that interested in artsy stuff, just beautiful country and food and drink. What other towns would you suggest staying on our trip to Barcelona?

Ronda Marbella - Ronda
Posted: Wed October 1, 2003 08:27 PM UTC
Hola Amigos,

I'll be visiting Marbella from New York in November for a little golf. I was thinking to do a day trip to Ronda. Does anyone know how long a drive that is?

And what cannot I not miss once I'm there?

Saludos, Douglas

Ronda Sevilla - Ronda - Granada transport
Posted: Thu September 18, 2003 02:59 PM UTC
Hola all,
Somewhere about I saw a post reply(I think from Carmen) about the lack of bus/train transport from Sevilla to Ronda. I'm concerned as we're heading to Andalucia in early October and will be travelling from Sevilla to Ronda and on to Granada. The guide book I consulted said you could take a bus trip (2.5 hours) from Sevilla to Ronda, and a train from Ronda to Granada. Is this correct or am I horribly misinformed? - Fii

Ronda Questions about Ronda
Posted: Sun June 22, 2003 09:50 PM UTC
Hi,

I'm thinking of going to Ronda from Sevilla. How often do buses/trains go there?

And from Ronda, i need to get to Granada. Again, whats the frequency of the buses/trains leaving there?

I hope i dont have to use Malaga as a base. Can anyone recommend me a place to stay (40 euros and under for a double with bathroom)?

Appreciate all input. Thanks!

Ronda Bullfighting in Ronda!
Posted: Fri June 6, 2003 11:24 PM UTC
Hi everyone,

The bullfighting season runs till mid-Oct. However, I am having difficulty finding a website that lists the fights for this whole season... does anyone know where I can find this information?

P.S. I've read all the pros/cons of bullfighting and am just interested in information about the dates/venues of the fights.

Thanks.
