Renting a car IN Ronda, Spain Posted: Mon July 6, 2009 11:12 PM UTC
We are 5 people traveling from Sevilla to Granada. We want to rent a car IN Ronda to drive down to Jubrique for a couple of days in September. It looks like AutoRonda doesn't have a car quite big enough and I can't find any solid information on Rent-a Car-Velasco or Plinoscar, both of which come up on Google as being in Ronda. Does anyone have any experience or ideas.
It's too far down to Malaga and we don't want to have to loop back to Sevilla.
thanks

Transport Options - Malaga to Ronda Posted: Sat January 10, 2009 02:45 PM UTC
I'm wanting to travel from Malaga to Ronda by bus or by train.
Can someone let me know number of buses/trains per day and if possible details of timetables.
I'd be travelling in March on a Saturday, probably after midday.
Also, if you know links from Ronda to Cordoba as well, that would be great as I think that will be the next leg of my trip.
Thanks,

Can you recommend a flat to rent in central Ronda for a long weekend Posted: Wed November 21, 2007 02:42 PM UTC
We are looking for a flat we could rent in central Ronda (although we would consider the surrounding area), initially for the weekend 6/7th December, but possibly again during the new year. We are thinking of moving to the area and want to get to know it.
Also does anyone has any information/recommendation on the schools, if there are 'catchment' areas etc.
Thank you

Car hire in Ronda? Posted: Thu October 18, 2007 02:12 PM UTC
Hi, does anyone know of a car hire place in Ronda? I've tried googling but have so far only come up with the major cities, and although we're flying to Seville we'd rather take public transport as far as Ronda if we can.
Thanks!

Parking in Ronda? Posted: Wed May 30, 2007 03:46 AM UTC
Hi.
I was wondering if Ronda has street parking? Is it safe? I will be near the San Francisco hotel. 15 Euros a night for internal hotel parking is the alternative, which is quite steep. Thanks for your help!

Bus from Malaga to Ronda Posted: Tue May 8, 2007 10:10 PM UTC
In terms of getting from Malaga to Ronda, do the various bus companies follow different routes? We would love to take the most scenic route if possible. Also, has anyone found the train journey to be more scenic than the bus?

ronda car rentals Posted: Sat January 27, 2007 05:26 PM UTC
We are renting a house in Gaucin for one week, March 17 - 24. we are arriving by train from Cordoba. I'm having zero luck finding a car rental that will deliver the car to Gaucin and pick up one week later which I would expect to pay for. Can anyone help me? It looks like we could get off the train in /ronda if we had to, rent a car and then drive to Gaucin. Do the following in reverse the next Saturday and catch the train to Granada. Help! Jimmy

How many days in Ronda? Posted: Mon November 6, 2006 04:54 AM UTC
Hi,
I'll be stopping en-route in Ronda on the way to Sevilla. Can anyone give me some advice on whether should I just stay overnight, or should I extend it to 2 nights?
Any comments?
Thanks!

Walking around Ronda Posted: Fri August 4, 2006 02:57 PM UTC
I am planning my holidays to Andalucia between 29/8 ~ 9/9. I am thinking to include Ronda. I heard that there are nice areas to walk around like a gorge and a national park.
I would like to stay 2/3 days in Ronda if it is possible to join a guided group (preferably hikers in 20~40) for one or two days long walks (and spend a day to see the city).
Is any company or meeting place that you can join a group on the day and go for a walk around? Are also walking excursions in the 'white villages' based in Ronda? What about costs?
I do not speak Spanish (speek only English and Greek).
Any help is welcome.

Stop sign Posted: Tue September 6, 2005 04:46 AM UTC
I was in Ronda this summer, and I wanted to ask...
Why do the signs say "STOP" on them?! Why don't they have it in Spanish? I met only 4 people in Spain who spoke English, and yet their stop sign is in English!

Day Trip from Rota? Posted: Wed May 18, 2005 01:55 PM UTC
I'll be in Rota working for two weeks in June. During the weekend I was thinking of going to Ronda and/or Arcos de la Frontera. Arcos is fairly close to Rota and seems to be an easy day trip. Ronda looks to be 100km or so from Rota. Assuming a 2-hour drive to get there, is a day enough to spend there or should I think about staying over night?
Would Arcos be a better bet...perhaps less crowded since it's not as big on tourists' lists of places to go?

Motion sick son :) Posted: Sat April 23, 2005 12:23 AM UTC
Traveling with 13 y/o son this summer, first time in Espana. Driving from Tarifa/Gibraltar to Ronda. My son tends to get carsick- sounds like winding road but how much so? Other ways. Leave son behind (kidding)?
Also, best route (and approx. time) to drive from Ronda to Granada.
Thanks!
