Hi, I need to find somewhere cheap to stay for one night next week near Sunningdale or Windlesham or even anywhere near train stations between Sunningdale and Waterloo.... Any suggestions? Thanks!

I'm a student working in Oxford and me and my girlfriend (from Spain) want to spend a day in Thorpe Park, but the problem is we don't know the cheapest way (actually we don't know any way)to get Chertsey from here (Oxford). We think bus must be the best option, but we don't find the connections we have to do, can you help us?

I might be travelling this summer(july/Aug)to Haselmere with my children (aged 8 and 11).
I would like to know if there are any "child friendly" apartments for rent,as most of the ones i browsed on the net says"No pets,No children,No smokers".

I need either one or two bedroom fully furnished flat with a telephone line and walking distance to shops or at least have an easy access(a near by bus stop).

Hello!!! I hope someone will see my post early enough. I need to go from Woking to Guildford on the 25th of December but I see there are not any trains or buses available. Is that true? So how can I get to Guildford? Anybody knows any way to get to where I need? It'd be really appreciated!

Two days - one in Surrey - one in London.
We are staying near Dorking (10 miles).

Can anyone advise about any special or peculiar transport around the Surrey area, websites to view and maybe cheap bike hire, taxi firms etc, based in Dorking?

What is the cheapest way into London, via Epsom from Dorking? How / where do I get a day travel pass for London?

I am also interested in the National Trust properties and attractive countryside in this part of Surrey. Any recommendations (with public transport)?

Finally - any really beautiful country pubs in the area - good real ale, food and decor etc???

I will need to hire a car for visit to Guildford/Grayshott/Dunsfold area in September and the rates I have been getting are horrnedous compared to what I paid three years ago. Does anyone know of a reasonable, say small company in one of the little villages, that gives a good deal?

I'll be attending a conference at Horsley Towers, in Surry, that will end on September 5...My questions:

Anyone know anything interesting to do that night in that area, or would any VT members like to meet? If there is something on for Saturday, I could stay an extra day....I just need to be in Frankfurt by Sunday night.

Any suggestions for really unique places to stay that evening. If not, I can stay another night at the conference center, but I'd rather experience a cool B&B or farm stay.
