i've just booked sanguli for may 2010, and we are flying into barcelona airport, landing at 9.00pm we are 2 adults and 2 kids aged 7/10yrs i've seen that plana bus operates from the airport has anyone used this service to get down to salou, i've gotten quotes for taxi and are outrages, would like to arrive stress free, any tips would be great,

We are staying at Hotel Sol dŽor Cami del Raco and want to see what is around us by bus.

Hi, just booked up to go to Salou in late september. Was wondering if anyone could tell us if the waterparks or portaventura would be open as seen a few things indicating they close in early sept? Thanks

i am due to visit salou soon and wondered regarding the markets. i am a ceramic artist and would like to work during my visit to salou, selling my ceramic jewellery.

i would like any tips can i do this without a permit? or who would be the best person or site to visit and enquire about this.

i am going to salou this friday as i have never been just wanted some info i am staying at the sol costa dorada would like some info on the area weather at the moment and also where will i be better off changing my money over there or back home as i know the euro is not good at the moment. Wanted to find out if there is straight train from Barcelon Airport to Salou and also to find out what time do they stop running as my flight will arrive in Barcelon Airport at 22.10 on the 21st of April. How much it is as well

We are a middle aged gay couple traveling in mid June for a couple of weeks. We have decided to base in Salou as Sitges is a little too gay for us. However we would like to party in Sitges a few nights but not too keen to go to the bother of booking hotels there as we will probably be out very late anyway.We were wondering on the cost of Taxi fare between the two resorts or any other suggestions as to how we might proceed .

I am planning to go to Salou in may Alone, i have been before but not on my own could anyone recomend any apartments very close to center of Salou that would suit a female alone.I dont want a hotel as i hate eating in restraunts alone, so prefer self catering.

Hi going with family in may have two 15 year olds with cruches and have difficulty walking my self have asked for room on the leavel what does this mean just with photo iv seen of hotel has lots of steps round pool is this correct and my sons have toget room of there own do the room join up and can u also tell me has any one went in may to this hotel if so whats it like thankyou

I'm over in Salou next week for a day only, and an overnight. I have an early flight out and it isn't worth using a hostel for about 4 hours sleep. Is there an all night cafe in Salou or Reus, if not, does the airport lounge remain open through the night ?

I have booked to stay at Jardines Paraisol Apatments for 4 nights in November. Has anyone stayed at these and are they ok. and are they to far from salou cener and shops ect.

I have been searching for accomodation for 2 adults and 3 kids. Ideally in hotel as like hotel facilities for kids.(entertainment, pool, kids clubs)Reaaly hard to find rooms to fit us all in. Looked at Villamarina Club, Cye Holiday Centre, H10 Playa Margarita and Estival Park in La Pineda. Has anyone got any recommendations for either or alternatives. Want to go to beach and Portaventura and do not want to spend a fortune on taxis.

I d like to tell you that i ve checked out a lot of options and found one which is very suitable for my case. europcar has got a pickup point at el paso hotel, close enough to portaventura hotel. what do you think of this?

some other companies make u pay for at least 3 days if you re changing pick up and return point - so they re out of question.

we r going to have at least 4 luggages, so it's probably a must to have a luggage rack, which adds about 50 euro for the rent, in our case 50 euro for just one day ( since we ll only be hiring d car for 1 day), which seems a lot! that makes it quite expensive doesn't it? According to Europcar.com a Peugeot partner only has space for 2 luggages. so to include luggage rack (and infant car seat) its around 132 euro.

In case of Avis and Hertz, they both have pick up points in Terragona, which suits us fine. but they do not seem to have a possibility of a luggage rack. So, to have space for suitcases we have to opt for the larger ones like Van Opel Zafira (123euro) or Ford focus Wagon (145.49). Those prices are for a day. Sometimes i wonder again whether for a little more a taxi wouldnt be a better choice,,, ?

I was wondering if you can buy a block ticket for 3 or 4 consecutive days to use in the Salou Area. we will be 3 adults + 1 child, maybe a ticket which can be shared?

am going to portaventura on 21st july have read diff reports about weather is it going to be nice for the week some reports say foggy am staying at portaventura hotel with my family has anybody been with kids have got a boy 3 and 14 please give me some advise

We have booked flights to and from Barcelona Airport and will be staying at Port Aventura Hotel. I need to know means of transport that can take us there and back. I have checked the RENFE and the Rapid Aeroport Line but there seems to be a BIG problem on our way from Port Aventura to BCN as the flight leaves at 9 and i figure the bus/train trip from PA to BCN takes around 2 hours.
I m getting desperate - i hope there is some kind of public transport that does early enough trips to get me to the airport on time.

can anyone tell me if you can buy tickets cheap in resort.My husband and I are visiting with our two kids and theirs 2 friends arriving 20th July.I have bought them a 7 day pass off the internet however I dont think me and my husband will go up that often.I thought maybe they might be on offer somewhere in salou.

My family are planning a holiday in salou this summer - hopefully! My youngest son wants to visit the barcelona stadium. We would like a central hotel which offers such day trips. Could anyone advise me on a good hotel?
