Anyone got a timetable for Nov this year

We are visiting Tenerife for 2 weeks starting on August 12. Our base will be Los Cristianos. Can anyone please recommend some beaches where we can drive to for picnics? We are looking for remote beaches and it doesn't matter how far away they are from Los Cristianos. We are particularly interested in beaches with large waves.

I am a single traveler on a tight budget. Can anyone advise me on the cheapest way to get from the south airport to Playa de las Americas or Costa adeje. For example, is there a public bus service from airport to bus station in Playa de las americas or some kind of shuttle bus? How much would a taxi cost? I will have one suitcase and hand luggage and it wiil be midday when I arrive.

I'm browsing Internet to compare taxi costs.

How much is the cost for "normal" trip with taxi (not airport transfer). I have read that the price in airport transfers is significantly higher.

Some pages say that normally the km-rate should be 0.40-0.50 €. Is this true?

Has anyone ever traveled with taxi from Costa Adeje to El Teide (cable car)? How much was it?

where abouts can you hire a moped from and is it worth it? do you have to of had a licence for a year cos i will be 18 when we get there and would have had one for about 6 months.

Hi we arrive at Tenerife South at 7pm on a saturday and are staying at La Caleta. Does anyone know of a supermarket that would be open that we might be passing or near and/or one that might be open on a Sunday morning?

Hi all.
We have some days of holidays at the beguinning of 2.009 and we, 3 of us, would love to spend some days in Tenerife. We prefeer the northern part as everybody has told us that it is a bit "quieter", not spectacular beaches, but nice enough, and we would prefeer to enjoy some "city" life better than resorts.

So the question is about apartments. Which one do you recomended and why? Any help would be apreciated as we are stating to research for our trip. We think that renting the apartment for a week, would give us freedom to explore the island and relax...so we prefeer somewhere in the city, or in a village, not just a suburb full of apartments and hotels.

Am arriving in Tenerife South in November with a 1yr old, and am looking to book an airport transfer to Costa Adeje but we will require a car seat.

Have tried A2B Transfers who say that they have infant seats but cannot guarantee us getting one(!).

Does anyone know of any firms which CAN guarantee getting a child seat? Don't really fancy carrying the little fella on our laps.

I know that the airport at Tenerife south is close to the Golf del Sur complex. Does anyone know if I can get a local bus from the airport?

i'm planning escaping the scottish winter this january. i've read that tenerife gets temperatures of low to the mid 20s in january however it is also quite wet at this time of year. is this true?? also where would be a good part of the island to stay which will have decent restraunts and nightlife? i wouldn't want to go somewhere which has closed down for the season.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

Im thinking about booking a holiday to teneife in t resort of playa de la americas and was wandering if anybody knew what the wheather and nightlife is like over. thank you vey much for you help ! ;)

1. I ve read somewhere that the beast beach in the las Americas - los Cristianos area is Playa de las vistas. Do you agree?

2. Have you got any idea when Siam Park is opening?

3. Someone mentioned hot air balloon rides over the los cristianos/ las americas resort? Where are these found? Is it a worthwhile experience?

4. I need to know where to get info about activities during d day in the area of Puerto de los cristianos- dolphin and whale watching trips to la ,gomera island ,... SO that i can check time table and see whether advanced booking is necessary.

5. I ve heard of a medieval show in Castillo de San Miguel. Is it good? Is it really necessary to book beforehand?

6. we will be staying in tenerife for 7 nights. i thought we could spend 5 nights in playa de las americas and move north for the last 2 days - is it a good idea? what places of interest must i not miss in the northern areas of tenerife? is it better to rent a car for moving north?

7. we will be using the TFN airport. Which means of transport is better to use to get to our hotel in playa de las americas?

8. I havent booked hotel yet. i ve loooked at the Playa de las americas maps on eurosol.com and i ve chosen map 3. which hotel would you recommend so that we ll be close to all the activities, yet it would be a good hotel, bed and breakfast, with a lovely pool area, not so expensive. (we re 30 yrs. old and we will have a 1 yr old girl and an 8 yr old boy with us. )

If you can answer one / some / all of my questions, it would be appreciated. probably there's still more questions to come ... :p

I'm going to tenerife and la palma in the beginnening of september. We will rent a rural house on both islands and rent a car. Can anyone give some 'must see's and do's. It can be everything 'a market, a walk, a nice place for a sunset...' As long as there isn't involved mass tourism. Because we want to escape that.

Can anyone recomend a region to stay? again we prefer a very quiet and green environment as far as possible from the very touristic places.

Has anyone ever taken the ferry from Tenerife to La Palma? Is there one daily?
and going to visit la gomera for one day without a car.. is that any good?

Hi all, i am coming to tenerife in august, staying in las floritas in playa de las americas. I am in need of a transfer from the airport to my hotel, i have come across a website www.tenerifetransfer.co.uk it is really cheap and you can pay on arrival. has anybody used these before?

We are staying at the Sheraton La Caleta. Can anyone reccomend any restaurants.

Could anyone help me i am going to the sunwing fanabe resort in costa adjere in August could anybody tell me if there are any ATM machines by this complex ?

Does anyone who has been to Playa in the last couple of months know if the La Boca English Restaurant is still there? It is situated just around the corner from Las Pirimedes Hotel & is a very busy restaurant.

Most importantly. if it is still there, do the 2 PR people still work there? One was a chap with long hair and the other was a young girl, probably around 23-25 years old.
