I have been looking at the pictures of the beach on here and we stayed in an apartment right on the beach in this picture and wondered if anyone know's the name of it as we would like to go back and try stay in the aprtments we stayed in but cannot remember name of it !! how annoying !

I am heading off to Torremolinos tomorrow morning and was wondering what we should expect to pay for a taxi from the airport to the Hotel Griego Mar in Torremolinos?

I have heard that you should agree a price with the driver before getting in the taxi but would like to know what kind of price I should be agreeing on.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I'm heading off to Torremolinos next Tuesday and I was wondering what the shopping is like there? I'm a massive fan of designer handbags such as Louis Vuitton, Dior and Fendi.

Does anyone know if you can get such designer replicas in Torremolinos and if so where and what price should I expect to pay?

I was just wondering if there are any language schools on torremolinos, Because a friend of mine is taking a TEFL(teaching English as a foreign language) course in Cadiz, and when she's qualified she wants to work teaching English (obviously) We found a great apartment in torremolinos but we cant seem to find any language schools on the web. Or if anyone knows of anyone wanted private tuition...?
Any help from anyone would be GREATLY appreciated.

Is it worth going to this city? Many reviews say it is not a beautiful destination but a overdeveloped tourist trap. Can someone please give me an insight to this?

Will all the bars/restaurants be open? How is the weather at this time of year?

In May I have about 100 visitors coming to Torremolinos for a meeting. They dont all arrive at the same time, but they do on the same day. I know there is a train from the airport to Torremolinos, but how far is it from the train station to the Melia costa del Sol. Also what about bus no. 19, does it stop anywhere near the Melia costa del Sol?

Hi, I am going to Torremolinos on 10th November for 3 nights along with 13 others. It is my Nana's hen party, she is getting married in December. The ages range from me and my friend, who are 21 up to my nanas friends who are 67! My friend and me were hoping there would be some lively bars and clubs we can go, can anyone help? In the midle of august I'll be in madrid for one week and then I'll travel to andalucia for one week.
1)Do you think it's a good idea to have MALAGA as a base and move around to the the other cities (Sevilla, Granada etc) in daytrips?
2)Are there good beaches in Malaga?
3)What daytrips you suggest from Malaga and what transportation. Bus or train?
4)how far is Malaga from Madrid?

How would I get from Torremolinos Center to Marbella? I will be travelling with my 16 year old grand-daughter.The travel company is "dumping" us there, with no way to get to Marbella!!

My friend is thinking od coming to the Costa Del Sol in Jan for 5 days with her 10 year old son. They will be staying in either Benalmadena, Torremolinos or Fuengirola. What will be open this time of year? He likes to be kept busy. I suggested the zoo, Gibraltar and maybe a boat trip. Is there anything else?

I went to Torremolinos for a day in April and we walked down these small streets, with shops all over the place, that descended down to the beach. Does anyone know the name of this place? There was a place we stopped at called "Bar Antonio," if that helps identify the location. I want to write a little page about it but I don't remember the name of the street/area.

...has anyone some info about "Benal Beach" apart-hotels in Benalmadena Costa? Trying to arrange for a week stay near Torremolinos for 2 in mid January - nothing too fancy, but clean and VERY close to the ocean.
