hello, I'm planning to head to the black forest in November for a week with my boyfriend and we'd really like to find a small log cabin to stay in. we plan to do a lot of hillwalking, but not sure where the best place to base ourselves is, nor how to find a decent cabin.
Can anyone help?
Thanks!

Hi, I just moved to Stuttgart, Germany about three weeks ago. Now I'm kind of getting the urge to go cliff jumping and swimming. If anyone knows of a good stop, I'd really appreciate hearing about it. It doesn't need to be very high, 10-30 ft will be fine. Thanks much for your help!
Hello. I am going to be in Munich and should arrive at Karlruhe's airport, what's the easiest affordable way of doing it (i checked flights and they are above 250$ which is crazy for 260 km)

I would like to travel from Konstanz to Geneva, and return. Does anyone know if this is possible by bus? Perhaps there's a bus from Kreuzlingen?
The rail option appears to cost 200 euro for a return ticket (2nd class), so I'd like to avoid handing over such a large chunk of my life savings if at all possible. I understand that it's possible to get reduced train fares if one purchases a train card. Would this be the best option?
i want to make a day trip to Strasbourg from Stuttgart. What would be the best way to travel? It's a group of 4, so would it be cheaper to rent a car than to take the tain? is their any local travel agency in Stuttgart who organizes day trips for small groups?

I just moved to Konstanz for the summer (until October) as I'm doing an internship just over the border in Bottighofen. I've only been here since the 1st June and most of my time has been spent working, so I don't really know my way about: does anyone have any recommendations for things to do or see, particularly in the evenings or weekend, since that's when I have time? As always, the cheaper the better, as I am a poor intern! All suggestions welcomes and thanks in advance!
Hi,
I have been looking at possible day trips for 3-4 days we will be spending in Karlruhe at the beginning of July. One of the spots I'm interested in is Basel, Switzerland. Wondering what would be the easiest way to get there and if this is possible for a day trip? We also need housing for 2 of us for 4 nights. Any suggestions? Thanks
My husband and I are arriving in Germany in late September. We are trying to find the cheapest way to get from Munich or Frankfurt (which ever is cheaper) to Freiburg. Originally we were looking at taking a train, but it seems to be quite costly. Is it really as expensive as it looks online? Is it cheaper to buy tickets when we are in Germany? Is is cheaper to take a bus, if a bus even runs to Freiburg? Sorry for all the questions, I have just been on the internet for a long time searching. Thank you all for your time.
ps... we are planning on traveling from Germany to Switzerland, then staying with family for about a month, then traveling onwards to France and Spain. Would a rail-pass be worth the cost?
Can anyone please tell me if it is possible to sightsee around Heidelberg within walking distance of the moorings for the River Cruise boats. We shall be there in August on the MS Heinrich Heine.
