Zaragoza Travelling to Zaragoza from the north of England
Posted: Sat July 5, 2008 01:18 PM UTC
Hi
I am going to see a friend who lives in Zaragoza - planning sometime in October. There is a flight from a nearby airport to Girona. I see that the distance is 356 miles. Are there any obvious problems to hiring a car and driving? I have been before and I think I would want to avoid driving in the centre but I could leave the car at her house which is in a village outside of the centre.
Thanks
Sheila

Zaragoza EXPO 2008 Zaragoza
Posted: Thu June 19, 2008 02:00 PM UTC
Hello!

Was wondering if there was anyone who has visited Zaragoza's EXPO 2008 that could review it's highlights/low points?

I'm planning on traveling to the EXPO next month and was hoping to learn some pointers about visiting the site from someone who has already experienced it!

Thanks!

Zaragoza 2 Pases 3 dias EXPO ZARAGOZA 08
Posted: Tue May 27, 2008 12:31 PM UTC
Hi,
I will not be able to attend Expo Zaragoza 2008. I am selling two 3-day passes to attend the expo anytime from 14 june to 14 september 2008.
Official ticket price right now is 70 euros plus shipping per 3-day adult pass.

I am selling them both for 100 euros included certified shipment. I bought them originally at a discount price, so i am selling them at face value, plus 4 euros or so for shipping. You'd save 40 euros!!

I can get paid through PayPal for a total of 105 euros, or through bank wire for 100 euros. Email me if you are interested in. Thanks

I will travel from Madrid - Zaragoza - Barcelona by AVE train on the same day. I will visit Zaragoza for a few hours. Is there any luggage locker in Zaragoza train station or bus station? I heard that the luggage locker at Cordoba train station had been closed. Is the luggage locker at Zaragoza closed? Any VT members' help will be much appreciated.

Zaragoza Tips for Zaragoza
Posted: Sat January 26, 2008 10:26 AM UTC
Hi all! We are a big group going Zaragoza this summer. I was hoping for any advice or tips to what to do, see and eat in this city. What are the good restaurants to try really good local cuisine(8 to 12 Euros) in the central part of Zaragoza? Can anyone suggest a good 2 to 3 star hotel in the center? What is the best area to be located in at Zaragoza?

Many thanks!

Zaragoza Where to sleep 3 weeks?
Posted: Sat April 22, 2006 02:40 PM UTC
Hi,
I will go to Zaragoza in September, at the University, but I can't afford to stay 3 weeks in a hotel so I would like to know if someone knows an aparthotel or a flat to rent in the center. I know that I can try to share a flat but I had a bad experience last year so I would prefer to be alone I think, this time. Thanks for your tips!

Zaragoza from Girona to Zaragoza
Posted: Sat April 8, 2006 08:31 PM UTC
Hi all,

I need some advice: what is the fastest way to travel from Girona airport to Zaragoza?? By bus, by train? a combination of both maybe?
I know the bus is probably the cheapest, but we will be arriving on a Friday the 14th of April around 17.00. I think there might be a chance that the bustickets will be sold out, especially because it is the friday before Easter.
I hope someone can help me out...
Thanks in advance!

Zaragoza planning next trip

Hi everybody! I'm planning to visit Zaragoza since I have a low cost flight from my town directly to it. I would like to take Zaragoza as a base and going around there. I'd need some information like:
1) is there something interesting near zaragoza?
2) what about trasportation?
3) do you know cheap accomodation in zaragoza?
4) which is the best time to visit it? How is the climate?
I asked many questions, I know, but I hope someone can answer at some of them at least! Thank you very much!

Zaragoza IN SEARCH OF A VERY LOCAL RESTAURANT...please not a touristic restaurant!
Posted: Tue May 24, 2005 07:04 AM UTC
Hi, I am touring a large group of 19 adults and 3 children (between 7 and 12 years old). Does anyone have a highly recommendable very local (not a tourists restaurant PLEASE!) NON-TOURISTS restaurant - if possible home cooking restaurant (money is not a problem)¿ These group are from Japan so, as you can see now they are about the easiest & enjoyable people to please and always very generous. I know Barcelona like the back of my hands although I have been to Zaragoza quite often for the feasta of Nuestra Sra. Pilar, we always end up having our meals back here in Barcelona...not for any particular reason, I think it´s just the timing. Cheers!

Zaragoza Hotel Info + General Tips
Posted: Wed March 23, 2005 09:44 AM UTC
Hi,

I am going for a weekend in Zaragoza with my girlfriend and am looking for some tips. I would like to stay in a comfortable clean but cheap hotel, reasonably close to the city centre. I would prefer a family type 'pension' or bed and breakfast rather than a big chain hotel.
Any reccomendations ? Budget would be around 50€ for a double room per night.
I have heard about Posada de las Almas and Monasterio de Piedra - any good ?

On a general note any tips of what to do are appreciated - I guess at nights tapas and bars ? I want to experience the real Zaragoza and hope to meet some locals.

Many thanks,
J

Zaragoza How do you track down a local?
Posted: Thu September 2, 2004 11:32 AM UTC
Hi there all,

Seems I might be travelling to Spain soon. Can't wait!!!!

A couple of years back I worked in Dublin and used to have a colleague by the name of José-Ramon Lamenca Lalaguna who initially came from Zaragoza and later returned to Zaragoza.

I would love to be able to trace him down again so I can say hi when I visit Spain but I'm getting desperate. Anyone got any ideas how I can go about to find an individual in such a big place?

Zaragoza hostales in Zaragoza
Posted: Thu March 11, 2004 10:27 AM UTC
Hi, myself and family of five (3 children 19 - 14 years old) are staying one night (Sunday) in Zaragoza en route to Barcelona.
We are looking for a hostale type accomodation near El Pilar where I can find somewhere to park the rental car for the night (car park or roadside).
I will need two rooms (one x 3 people, one x 2).
I am looking for en-suite rooms and am hoping not to pay more than 30 - 50 euros per room + breakfast !
... maybe a tall order !
Does anybody know of any friendly atmospheric places that might be suitable ?
Thanks.
Trevor.
