What is the nightlife like in St. Thomas? Are there any hot nightclubs or anything?

My wife and I will be in St Thomas for 4 nites Jun 6-10 for 30th wedding anniversary. What special things would you suggest?

Can anyone help me find out when the Miracle on Main Street is scheduled. It is usually a Friday in December but can not find out any information as to when specifically it is. Thanks for any help!

We (2 persons) are looking for some modest accomodation on St. Thomas. We do not need breakfast or a pool, just a room and a (shared) kitchen.

We will be there from March 7th until the 28th.

I'll be vacationing on the beautiful St. Thomas Island in May. Can anyone tell me if beach amenities like chairs and umbrellas are available at most beaches and for use by the public. I was there for a single day a couple years ago (a cruise ship guest) and stopped by Sapphire beach only to be told the beach furniture was for guest of the hotel only. Is this typcial? Should I bring my own?

Wandering if there's anyone going to be in STT or St. John on 9/9 or 9/11 who would be interested in going in on a Eco-Tour at JVD? it's the JVD by Sea...supposed to snorkel at the hot-spots around the island.... plus see /swim with wild dolphins. It's $245 for the boat with 4 people max. Average then $61 pp. Can't do it alone when you consider the ferry over for 2 people $80 + $40 immigration and $245 for the boat. It would be with me and hubby , in early 30's. Payment can be arranged thru Jost Van Dyke & BVI Eco-Tours, and they'll split the price. Interested ? I'd love to hear from you! We are planning a trip to this resort for Christmas 2005. Has anyone ever stayed at this place? What was your opinion on the accommodations? Would you recommend the International or Caribbean suites?

My Husband and I are having a hard time deciding between Puerto Vallarta or St. Thomas. We are planning to go in September and have read that Puerto Vallarta can be rainy and very hot/humid in September; however, September is prime hurricane season in the Caribbean. We really want to go to a place that has amazing beaches, clear water and be able to see some very cool things while there. Any advice would be great !! Thank you.

Is it too humid/hot to visit St. Thomas at the end of July?

I and a friend are planning to move to VI in a year. Is it possible to lease a vehicle for 6 months to a year in Charlotte Amalie. We are trying to figure out how much it is going to cost us to live there.

Our cruise ship will be at St. Thomas next week for one day. Where is the best TROPICAL - looking beach? One with palm trees? We don't care about amenities, just want to see a beautiful beach. Also, what's the best (and cheapest) way to get there from the Charlotte Amalie port?

hi- for all you ST experts.....which is a better location? i'm looking in terms of choice of restauraunts, location for day excursions ( for pick up and drop off), location of grocery stores, bars and nightclubs, and etc. But i also don't want extreme hustle and bustle. Will I be bothered by massive ship passengers in Charlotte Amalie? Plannning on Coral World, Trip to St. Johns, Tortola or BVI, maybe even flight to San Juan. Which side of the island is better for snorkeling right off the beach? and How about a good resort or Villa for rent? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'm gonna be a first timer to ST! We're very excited ...once we get past where to stay! Thank you!

We are going to St. Thomas and will be there for 4 days. My husband and sons will spend a good amount of time scuba diving; however, I am not a diver, although I do snorkel. Does anyone have any suggestions on sightseeing / shopping tours I could take that would be enjoyable and safe?

On 10/9/2004 we were on the island and purchased some Caribbean Lotto tickets and have not been able to find the results. Do they have a web site??? Do you know the results? Thank You, M.J.

We are interested in visiting Coral World on our next trip to St. Thomas (this December.) What would a taxi cost for two from Havensite to Coral World (and, of course, return?)

Also are cabs readily available at Coral World?

Some of my girlfriends and I are looking into moving to St. Thomas this summer. Are there certain times of the year that tourist come to St. Thomas and other times that are very slow with hardly any tourist visiting? Also how much does it cost to rent a 2-3 bedroom place per month? In addition, what is average wage and do bartenders and waitresses make tips or is it just a flat pay? Hello out there, any advice for grocery shopping on St. Thomas or throughout the Virgin Islands? My husband and I will be cruising for our 25th anniversary in June and would like to plan our own meals.

Does anyone know the Legal drinking age in the US and British Virgin Isles?

While I've been to St. T before, I am new to diving, and only dove a few times there last year, due to some rough weather setting in.

Does anyone have favorite dive spots & info they'd like to share? I'll be staying at Lindbergh Beach the first week, and over on the other side near Coki Beach the second week.

I haven't done any wreck dives yet, do you have some favorites? Also, I've snorkeled the park at St. John, but is it worth a special trip over there for particular dive spots? How about the BVI's (can do day trips)?

In June this year we are planning a trip to St. Thomas. What I would like to know is what is a good place to stay on St. Thomas and what is the rate? I am looking for acco between US$60-120.
