LNG in Penuelas

Help! We are trying to get some feedback on the effect Liquified Natural Gas has had on the Penuelas community. The developers of the terminals there are claiming it was the best thing to happen to that community in the last 50 years. Can anyone give me a first-hand explanation of what it has done to/for the area? We are concerned that an LNG terminal in our area will disrupt and damage our very fragile economy and environment. What happened in Penuelas? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Jim
