How far this hotels from the airport of San Juan?Thank you for your help..

I am going to be in San Juan Thursday to Monday and I would like to do the tourist thing during the day but at night I like to party. I want to know if anyone has any good ideas of places to see during the day? Also any good clubs and or night spots to go to?

I'm planning to visit Puerto Rico for 2 weeks in June. I don't have a very big budget for the following ideal situation:
-an inexpensive apartment w/a kitchen
-a beach within walking distance
-safety for a female traveling alone
-mild weather (don't want to fry!)
-delicious food
-salsa dancing at night

Where should I go?

Are there harbor sightseeing cruises in San Juan of the type similar to the river cruises I have taken in London and Paris -- showing historical and cultural sights? If so, please point me to the providers -- name, address, phone, website, etc. -- if possible.

If not, are there charter bus tours?

I've heard of this new website called www.BuenaComidaPR.com that is a interactive directory for food travelers in Puerto Rico. I recently went to one of the places it features on the website and I posted my review of them.
Does anybody know of a good place to eat in the middle of the island? Please let me know. Don't forget to check out the website, it's very useful.

we are considering an august vacation in puerto rico and would like to hear what other people's experiences have been in puerto rico in the summer. is the weather too hot and humid to really enjoy your vacation? or is it possible to have a good vacation in puerto rico even during the summer. also, it appears that there are many festivals that are scheduled during the summer. does anyone have experience with these festivals. thanks!!!!!!

My name is A.J. and I am planning a trip to San Juan PR with my class. We need to know what the typical cost of food and fruits from street vendors would be. Can anyone out there help me!

PLEASE!!!

We will be in PR in 2 weeks. We will be staying for a total of 7 nights. So far, we are staying at the Wyndham Rio Mar for the 1st 3 nights (enjoy resort, do El Yunque, visit Laquillo beach), then to Vieques for the next 2 nights (do Biobay, see beaches,etc.) We will have 2 more nights...My question is this: What would you suggest doing the last 2 nights? We were considering flying from Vieques to Culebra and staying in Culebra for one night...then stay near Old San Juan the last night (at Hilton Caribe or Intercontinental). Is it worth the extra time and cost to visit Culebra after 2 days in Vieques? OR for the last 2 days should we just enjou our hotel and its surroundings 1 day, then the spend 1 day touring Old San Juan???

we looked at el convento ... sold out. What's left is too expensive. We are in Rio Grande for 6 days and wanted San Juan (affordable and w/in walking) for Thurs and Fri 2/28-3/1. Any suggestions?? Thanks

Finishing up a loop trip from San Juan - Culebra - Jayuya and then heading back to San Juan. Would like 1 more beach day away from San Juan. Not looking for an all inclusive...would like a small parador or B&B oceanside. I have looked at the Dorado area..I have read Balneario Cerro Gordo is great...is there anywhere in that region that someone would recommend? Thanks

We will arrive in PR via cruise at 5:00p.m. leave at 11:00p.m. what can we see or do at night? We do not do the club scenes we are 50-60ages, read somewhere about a horse ride through the town? want to book with locals if possible, any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks in advance please give directions and cost if possible of suggestions.

Does anyone know of any hotels that have any smoking rooms in the Condado area, that would have a balcony or patio? I doubt I will get my husband to quit smoking anytime soon, and hate to spend over $300 per night (Caribe Hilton).
