Dublin London to Dublin
Posted: Thu February 7, 2008 11:08 PM UTC
So I'll be on a plane from San Francisco to London. I get off at London and make it thru customs. How long will it take for me to get to Dublin from there and how much should I budget if I'm to take another plane? Are flights to Dublin from London every hour on the hour?

Dublin Aer Lingus - How are they???
Posted: Sat August 11, 2007 12:57 AM UTC
I need a one way flight to Rome and Aer Lingus offers a reasonable fare from JFK to FCO via DUB. How are they.....reliable, clean, safe, etc.?? Usually fly AA or BA but there is a significant fare differential.

Thanks,
Karen

Dublin Any differences in language perhaps....?
Posted: Wed August 16, 2006 12:37 PM UTC
My friend and I are planning to go to Ireland next year. I would appreciate if anyone could tell me if there are any differences in language, compared to English, and if anyone knows whether there are some typical irish words and phrases we could use and learn.

Would someone be so kind as to write the Irish saying about a journey "and may the road come up to meet you" - in the original Irish dialect, please. Thank you, Carol

County Tipperary Gift Ideas?
Posted: Tue January 4, 2005 05:27 PM UTC
I want to thank my cousin for taking my family and hers out for a very expensive lunch while we were visiting Dublin. She lives in Templemore but I am not familiar with her neighborhood. Is there a restaurant or other business nearby that I can get a gift certificate from to send along with my thank you card?

Thanks,

Debbie

Dublin Traveling to Dublin for Christmas
Posted: Fri November 28, 2003 08:29 PM UTC
Hello,

I am considering traveling to Dublin from Dec 24 to Dec 29th. I have been to Dublin before but never on such a holiday. Can you tell me if this is a stupid idea for someone who wants to go to the Pubs and drink and talk with people and go to clubs to dance at night? Is the city closed on Christmas day? I will be coming from Virginia USA. I will travel with one friend.

Any information would be helpful.

Thanks a million,

Silas
