I visited Sunny Beach last June with My Boyfriend, and was sorry we never took the boat trip to Nessabar (the old town).
We am returning next Monday, can anyone tell us of anywhere that organises this trip, or where we should go to take this trip?
I didnt see anything advertised last year!
If you have any other comments on trips or sightseeing please post them!!

Right I was wondering does anyone know where the lion hotel is situated? If so can you tell me the nearest hotel to it. Ive been to bulgaria in 2005 but the hotel wasnt there then. The nearest info I can find is that its in the north side of sunny beach. Can anyone tell me if it is near the bus stop by the Kuban hotel, thats where the balkan bus is dropping us off on the 30/5 and we havent got a clue where to go from there. Help!!

hi im heading to sunny beach at the end of july start of august for a week and im just wondering can anybody help me with the following.

Is the euro ok to bring or should i change to the local currency?
Can you rent mopeds out there on a provisional license and if so how much are they?
Has anybody stayed in the kassandra apartments and if so what are they like?
finally is the weather normally nice out there at this time of year?

Any answers you could give me would be a great help

I am travelling to Sunnybeach in May of this year with my elderly parents. My father is keen to attend Catholic Mass while we are there. Can anyone advise me if there is a Catholic Church anywhere near Sunnybeach.

In august we went to Bulguria for the first time. We will stay 14 days in hotel Longosa Garden.

Did somebody stayed in this hotel before? It looks like a good hotel. At the best and not far from the restaurants and bars.

Hi ya people,

I was in Sunny Beach in June 2007, loved it.
One problem though, couldn't find any decent fry ups anywhere, the sausages out in SB are terrible. The Bacon is a bit dodgey to. Can anyone advise where I can get a decent fry-up, like we have back here in the UK?

Can we draw money with a non bulgarian bank ATM card bearing "Cirrus" and "Maestro".
This is just a ATM bank card not a credit card.
I have used it to draw money from ATMA in other parts of the world but want to be sure I can use it in Bulgaria.

1) Is it possible to get a bus at around 2am to get from Bourgas airport to Sunny Beach? And how much should a taxi cost? Heard there could be higher prices due to late hour.

2) What places would you recommend for eating out during the day/night for people on a student budget? And what kind of prices can we expect in those places?

3)Could anyone suggest specific traditional food we just have to try while we're there? We'll be staying in a self-catering apartment, so might want to buy some local food (eg. pastries etc.) for breakfast/lunch.
