| Songpan | horse tekking from Songpan - suitable for children? Posted: Wed September 5, 2007 05:02 PM UTC
Hi, I'm planning a trip to China next March/April with my 2 children aged 9 & 11, and thinking about doing a couple of days horse trekking from Songpan. Has anyone seen kids on treks there, or have any thoughts about whether trekking there would be ok for kids?

I'am planning to take the horse trek to the Ice mountain sometime during the last week of january ? I would like to know how the climate would be during that time and if it will be too cold for the trek.
And btw.. is there any overnight bus from Songpan to Chengdu.. any information on this will be much appreciated. Thx, Sarav |
