Is it easy and cheap to travel by public transport to Caesarea Maritima (Old Caesarea) from Jerusalem or Tel Aviv?

Hi,
Want to go for a few days to either Caesaria or Zichron Yaakov with my grown up children. Obviously, we all have different ideas as to what constitutes a good holiday (!!) and the only common denominator seems to be relaxing on a beach/near a pool during the day. We've agreed that, after eating dinner, they'll "do their own thing" and I'll do mine! Any recommendations for a reasonably priced place to stay either near sea or pool? Thanks in advance, Natalie |
