Kakadu National Park Drive time between Darwin airport and Jabiru?
Posted: Wed September 17, 2008 05:58 PM UTC
Can anyone help with how long it will take to drive from Darwin airport to Jabiru?

Also, what is drive time from Jabiru to Cooinda?

Looking for the actual time it dates to drive from one location to the other, not km distance.

Thanks for your help.

Kakadu National Park Kakadu In November, what to expect, what is open, closed?
Posted: Wed April 16, 2008 06:03 PM UTC
I'll be in Kakadu National Park in November, on the 21st and 22nd. I read that this is the wet season, and some attractions or access to attractions is not permissable. Then, I also read that the real wet season is not till late December and January. Can anyone share what I can really expect? What sights will I not have access too? Also, this time of year, what is open, and what are the sights and attractions not to be missed? Thank you?

Kakadu National Park Kakadu entry fee
Posted: Tue December 14, 2004 12:17 AM UTC
Actually a notice rather than a question.

As of 20 December 2004 the entry fee into Kakadu ($16.25 per person) will be abolished. If you go in on the 19th you'll have to pay.

The camping and other fees will stay the same.

The latest information now is that they are planning to close the entry station (fee collection place) at noon on the 19th. So going in during the afternoon will save you money. The entry station normally closes about 6PM. But after that day it won't be opening again.
