I was wondering if anyone has recently been to Zimbabwe, particluarly Gweru and Antelope Park, and is it as bad as we are reading about in the media? My son is travelling there next month as a volunteer at Antelope Park and there has been some awful stories in the media.

How do you get from Victoria Falls to the Antelope Park? Are there any companies that will take you in a 4wd or a minibus or something?
Plus is the political situation in Zimbabwe so bad that I should consider not going at all? We will be two females aged 19 and 52, are we likely to be mugged on public transport? |
