I'm doing the Marangu route in late October. I've been told to get a down filled coat but I already have a heavy duty fleece andwaterproof, will this be enough? Also have people had problems near the top when using a platyous?

I will be visiting Kilimanjaro in Feb next year. Is it reasonable to expect to find a company to climb K with at a decent price whilst I'm there, or should I book in advance for the better deals?

I am planning a trip to Tanzania in November-December and plan to try the Kilimanjaro climb. So far there are two of us and we are looking for some fellow climbers. Let me know ASAP if you are interested. We plan to spend about a month in Tanzania.

Has anyone climbed Kilimanjaro? I am taking an organize tour in September called the Tanzania Volcano Trek. It includes Mt Meru also. I will be going early and staying at the Ilboru Safari Lodge. Any info will help.
