Moshi Kanga phrase
Posted: Tue May 6, 2008 03:12 AM UTC
A friend of mine brought me a Kanga as a gift from her trip to Kenya. She did not get the phrase translated. Where can I get a translation for:
"AKIONDOKA MZAZI ROHO YANGU HAINA UWAZI"

Moshi Impala Hotel in Moshi
Posted: Thu February 7, 2008 01:34 AM UTC
Does this hotel (as distinct from the Impala in Arusha) still exist. Or has it changed its name? I can't find it listed anywhere and there is no website. My daughter visited it last year and we thought we'd go back.

Thanks

Moshi Kilimanjaro Training
Posted: Sat November 11, 2006 02:39 AM UTC
I live in Colorado Springs, CO at 7,000 feet above sea level. I'm located at the base of Pike's Peak, which is 14,000 feet above sea level. Would climbing Pike's Peak a few times be sufficient training for Kilimanjaro?

Moshi Kilimanjaro
Posted: Tue November 7, 2006 02:03 AM UTC
I'm thinking about climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro this year. Here's what I need to know: 1) Is Moshi the closest town to Kili? 2) How far is Moshi from KIA? 3) Can a strong 13 year old boy climb Kili? Im thinking about taking my son.

Moshi Is Maestro accepted in East Africa?
Posted: Wed September 28, 2005 12:39 PM UTC
Do the ATMs in Moshi accept Maestro cards? Or does it have to be Visa? Is Maestro generally accepted in East / South Africa these days or is Visa a better option?

Many thanks for any help.
