my fiance & i will have our honeymoon in singapore & we started looking online for a nice with great location but inexpensive hotel. our budget is around SGD 200.00/night and we come accross the follwoing hotels: bayview, peninsula excelsior, golden landmark, furama hotel. please advise me which hotel among the 5 mentioned will be ideal in terms of location, service & clean rooms. it would be of help to us if you can rank them. if you have a better hotel in mind which is not mentioned, it will definitely be great!

We are visiting singapore on 29th of this months and are two families(6).
It would be great if we can get an accomodation in a flat with Kitchen Facilities. I mean a two room house with a small kitchen for 4 days.
Idealy we would love to stay near Little India.
Also Please suggest our trip to sentosa we want to cover Cable Car, Dolphin show, Songs of the sea .Any Package to cover these.
Also any site wheere I can see the prices of electronics in sing online?

is it generally cheaper to buy electronic products eg camera, MP3 in singapore than western countries and are the retailers reliable?

I am going to Singapore in September to see the Grand Prix. Currently I have a hostel booked but I think my backpacker days are over (lol) so am looking for a cheap hotel instead. Does anyone have any ideas??? I know it is possible that most places are booked up already but worth a try. Been to Singapore once before and stayed in an ok hostel back then but it seems to have vanished from existence!

I'm arriving back in Singapore on Tuesday 14th May to the budget terminal at around 12pm. My flight out from terminal 1 isn't until 11pm and as I've been to Singapore so many times and will have a laptop and clothes bag I'd rather just relax somwhere until my flight. I know there is a transit hotel at the airport but as far as I am aware that is only for passengers who have checked in or who are in transit.

I cannot check in until 9pm so can anyone suggest a place to stay for approx 6 hours please?

We are going to Singapore tomorrow. We are wondering if we should take train from airport to hotel (Fragrance Rose , Balestier road) or should we take taxi from airport. Could you advise us. There are 4 of us with light baggage. Is there a taxi stand in Novana MRT station.

We will be staying in KL for 3 days (husband, self and kid) and then I plan to make a short 3 day trip to Singapore and back while my hubby is in KL on business.

1. I plan to take a day bus to Sing. since I beleive this is faster (Transtar / Aeroline). Is it safe for a woman and kid to travel alone and how long would it take. Or would you suggest flying? I am looking to balance budget with safety and ease of travelling.

2. I plan to stay in NSS, Bugis. Please suggest which buses would arrive closest to this hotel. Also, are there any other decent hotels in a central location at the same rate as NSS.

3. Since I have been to Sing. two years back, I would like to see the newer attractions. Apart from Vivocity, lights show at Sentosa what else can I go to? Is the Sing. flyer / marina bay area open yet?

We are arriving Singapore by bus at around 2 or 3 am. The bus station is at Bugis area. How can we go to the Sentosa island? Is taxi the only means? If yes, how much will it cost? Thanks a lot!

is it very near? and will it be convenient as I will be carrying luggage?

btw, does anyone know whether causeway point provides luggage deposit facility?

Will be going to Singapore with my hubby and my son in 1 week.Planning on taking lots of photos.Our hotel does not offer PC facilities.Can anyone recommend an inexpensive reliable place where we can download our digital photos onto CD?How much does it cost?

We land just after midnight in Singapore and we wanted to use the MRT instead of taking an expensive taxi. Does anyone know how late the MRT runs on saturday nights? How late does the shuttle connecting the budget terminal with the main terminal?

Were going to leave our luggage and just get a quick night of rest, quick day of sightseeing and then leave the next evening at 8;30pm.

We are coming to Singapore in June to visit our daughter who is working there for a year.

We want to do as much in that two weeks as we can, we know of lots attractions that Singapore has to offer.

My question is, as we are in Singapore for only two weeks, is it worth going into Malaya to have a look round? Possibly an overnight stay?

Hi there, my friends and I are going to MY and SG next week. We will be arriving SG by bus from MY early in the morning. Then, we will be staying in SG for 1 night. Can anyone suggest an itinerary for this short trip?

On day 1, we have no plans yet to do in the morning but in the evening, we would like to go to the night safari.
On day 2, our plan is to go to Sentosa. My friend told me that we need a whole day to spend in Sentosa so maybe we'll leave our luggages first at the hotel as we don't want to carry them around. Then just get them back at the end of the day (after Songs of the Sea show) and then go to the airport to catch our late evening flight.

Also, any suggestion for a good hotel where we can stay? Maybe around USD100-150 per night (?) Or does it have to be in Sentosa island so that we won't be rushing to the airport?
