Weather in december-january in Agadir Posted: Mon August 20, 2007 04:20 PM UTC
Hello,
From 27 december to 8 january, me and my wife want to visit Morocco.
We have plane to Marrakech, where we want to spend 2-3 days and then we want to go to Agadir and/or Essaouira.
I'm interested how is the weather, beach, ocean. The ocean water is cold ?
We want to stay on the beach mostly and make some trip if the weather is not so good.
I'm interested also into a good and cheap location to stay in Marrakech, Agadir/Essaouira.
Thanks to all.

Things to do around Agadir and other info needed Posted: Mon January 22, 2007 08:03 PM UTC
I am taking 20 students who are 18 year olds to Agadir March 25 for 7 days.
I want them to have a good time and experience new things. I also want them to know how to behave is such a way as to not offend the locals.
Besides the beach what are the attractions/excursions that would be of interest to the students? Please give details of companies you would trust and prices if known.
What is the drinking age and attitudes to drinking? Plus attitudes to smoking?
My research tells me that it will be warm at the start of April... warm enough to get a suntan? What about the water temperature?
Lastly I saw a post or commment somewhere which warned visitors to ensure that any cameras etc be noted in the passport on entry otherwise they might get taxed on the way out.

Hi, what do you think of the Agadir beach club hotel??? i have heard very conflicting reports from bad to very good. I will be staying there in late April this year and can anyone tell me what the weather will be like and can you scuba dive.
Also are there any really nice seafood restaurants nearby.

Agadir or Gran Canaria? Posted: Mon January 8, 2007 03:50 PM UTC
My mom (56) and me (24) are looking in to a holiday in Agadir in March 2007 but are very unsure, we love the sun and looking for a relaxing beach holiday. We look for a good beach, good pool and hotel, good eating places and somewhere we won't feel unsafe as we are 2 females on their own.
We have been to Egypt (sharm el sheikh)before so understand what the culture may be like and do plan to go with an open mind.
I would really like to go somewhere different but I'm really not sure to risk going to Agadir as I have seen very mixed reviews about the area and hotels.
Should I go to the Canary Islands as a safe option instead??
Any advise please
Thanks,
Cat

HOTEL DIAF? Posted: Tue December 12, 2006 07:46 PM UTC
First, thanks to those who responded to my question concerning airport/exchanging money. We appreciate the help.
Has anyone heard of or stayed at the Hotel Diaf? We have read that they are inexpensive and decent. We have tried to call but can't seem to get through from Oxford England. Any observations appreciated.

Agadir Hotel Posted: Sat November 11, 2006 06:40 PM UTC
Whats a good hotel in Agadir where the guests are mainly Moroccan as against Europeans,I come to Morocco in December to see Agadir and learn about the people and the country and their way of life and the way it might differ or be the same as my own. I dont speak French so maybe there is no hotel, where I would get by speaking only English.
