I am visiting Agadir in middle of Nov for 2 weeks and would like to rent a flat for that period. I would prefer it to be in Centre of town/not far from it.
Please let me know if you know any individuals/agencies who rent out flats on short term basis.
Thanking you in advance.

Agadir Travelling with a surfboard
Posted: Fri July 24, 2009 10:49 PM UTC
Hi!

Am going to Agadir with my hubby in November and we'll be taking our surfboards. Was just wondering how easy it is to travel with them. Is it worth renting a car or is it quite easy to travel by bus or taxi with surfboards in tow? Don't want them to hinder our travels!

Really appreciate any answers...

Thankyou,

Sarah

Posted: Fri May 15, 2009 02:58 PM UTC
Hello,
i am leaving to Agadir within 3 weeks.
Who can help me out?!

Could anyone tell what is the best option for rent a car?
Shall i do it in advance on the internet? its about 220 euors for 1 week.
Or shall i rent a car in Agadir, is that less expensive?
Can i also rent a scooter there?

What are also the best places i should have seen in my holiday?

Thanks!

Agadir Travel from Marrakesh to Taghazoute
Posted: Mon February 23, 2009 10:45 PM UTC
What is the best way of getting from Marrakesh to Taghazote? Should I take a bus from Marrakesh to Essaouira and then change bus or take one to Agadir and then change? How regular are the buses to both locations from Marrakesh and what is the price like?

Agadir Things in or around Agadir?
Posted: Tue February 17, 2009 01:56 PM UTC
I'm going to Agadir in April with my boyfriend for 7 days. Neither of us have a drivers licence so we wont be able to rent a car. Is there any nice places close enough around the town that you could get to by bus? Is there things to do in the town itself?

Thanks!

Agadir Agadir, Taghazout and surrounding areas in a week, alone and on a small budget
Posted: Mon February 16, 2009 10:28 PM UTC
I visited Morocco in February 2007 and saw Marrakesh, the Atlas Mountains, Casablanca and Essaoira. It was a great trip but I never made it to Agadir. I have a week at the start of March and want to get down there and enjoy some beaches and sunshine. I have looked at some websites and it said about 70 degrees which is about what it was when I went last time. Is this realistic? I really want some sun after a bleak british winter.

I have never really tried surfing properly and want to try it at Tagazoute. What is the accomodation like there? Is there much of a backpacker scene there? What is the accomodation like? Can anyone recommend any good hostels or budget hotels? I'm travelling alone but usually have no problem meeting people to hang around with.

Beyond Tagazoute and Agadir are there any other places that people would recommend in the area or south of agadir?

Hello!

We were in Agadir in 2003, and we meet a taxidriver (he told us to call him bobo because his name was difficult to say) Bobos taxi was white, and he have 2 sons. He was verry good at English - and were verry freindly.

Our problem is that we donīt have his email, and we are going on a seacruse in december to Agadir.

Can anyone help with the email?

Agadir Wheel chair in Agadir
Posted: Sun April 27, 2008 08:47 PM UTC
We have booked the Sofitel Hotel in Agadir during May this year.My husband is confined to a wheel chair. We have now found out that the hotel is miles away from the town.IT isnt easy to get into a taxi, as his wheelchair cannot be folded. He needs to get into a vehicle whilst staying in his chair.
Is there any thing between the hotel and the town?
Will we be able to use the promenade?
How far away is the town from the Hotel?

Agadir Building Work
Posted: Sat April 19, 2008 02:48 PM UTC
I am due to stay at the Founty Beach ( Iberostar) from 14/5/08 and have been advised that there is a construction job in progress involving the building of a promenade and there may be some noise. Could someone please advise if the noise on this project is likely to be a nuisance and sufficient to ruin my stay.

Thanks

Agadir Tipping and Entrance Fees...
Posted: Mon February 11, 2008 08:13 PM UTC
Hello,

We will be spending one day partly in Agadir and partly in Tourdant....we are taking a guided tour.

I have two questions.....is there a fee to enter the Medina? If so, how much is it?

And....what is an appropriate amount for a tip to our tour guide? Our tour is going to cost about 900 dh per person for the day. Is the tip 10%, 15%, or more? We know that we are going to have a wonderful time and want to tip appropriately.

I hope it is okay to tip in Moroccan money.

As part of our tour, we are going to be going somewhere for lunch...the cost of the lunch is included in the tour.....should we tip separately for the lunch? Or should we include the lunch tip with the tour tip?

I'm sorry for all the questions.....we want to do what it right and proper.

Thank you very much in advance!!

Agadir Heading for Agadir!
Posted: Sun January 27, 2008 01:58 PM UTC
Going to Agadir in June for a week - staying at Riu Tikida Dunas. first time to
visit Morocco. First time going all -inclusive. Have read a few reviews on this
hotel - all seem to be very positive! Are they too good to be true?? It looks
like a nice place - I hope it meets all expectations ! What are the temperatures
at that time of the year - I hope it is not unbearably hot. My travelling party
consisting of 4, wanted something different - close to the beach, no hills for
climbing and a new experience. What does one dor for money exchange - use the
ATM when we get there ? Is this one of those countries where you have to leave
their currency behind? I am excited but at the same time a little apprehensive
about going to Morocco! I would appreciate any comments or advice.

Agadir GETTING FROM AGADIR TO TAROUDANT FOR THE DAY FROM THE PORT
Posted: Mon November 5, 2007 10:06 PM UTC
Hello! I am going to be arriving on a cruise to Agadir for just one day on November 25th. I really wanted to get out of Agadir and be able to go to Taroudant for the day. I have been hitting some brick walls trying to find car hire for the day (won't rent for just one day or only manuel...pathetically I can only drive auto). Any suggestions on how three people can travel there for a day trip...car, bus, taxi...etc..??? Any detailed info is very much appreciated.
