Casablanca how safe is it at the Casablanca airport
Posted: Fri March 14, 2008 05:57 PM UTC
my 20 year old will be flying from Accra Ghana to JFK with a connection
in Casablanca, Morocco.
Is it a reasonably safe airport-- are the chances good that she will get her
luggage on the other end.
She had a RT flight on N.American airlines direct and it was cancelled-- so this
was the best we could do to get her back to the states-- ie least stops and cheapest. Any advice or experience with the airport?

Casablanca Best 21 day tour from Casablanca
Posted: Fri March 14, 2008 12:13 AM UTC
Good morning from Oz to all you incredible travel advisers...I'd like to 'do' a tour out of Casablanca for about 3 weeks..not too arduous but interesting and exciting and of course at the right price...I can get a really good return airfare with Ethiad out of Brisbane, (only for May) so I'd be very grateful for any advice...thanks everyone..regards Elly in Oz.

Casablanca Hotel Club Val d'Anfa
Posted: Mon January 21, 2008 08:27 AM UTC
Hi all
Can someone give me the contact information (phone number, email etc) for Club Val d'Anfa Hotel in Casa?

Based on TripAdvisor and VirtualTourist recommendations, this seems to be my best choice for price, comfort, location and service. The price i am getting online is about US$100 per night.

I will be at the Sheraton for work from Jan 27 through 31 and then spending Jan 31-Feb 2 exploring Casa on my own.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Casablanca traveling from Casablanca to Fes Al bali
Posted: Thu November 29, 2007 09:20 PM UTC
We are visiting Morocco and Guinea next Spring. We plan to stay a few days in Morocco before Guinea, and visit the coast, specifically El Jadida. And then after Guinea, we are hoping to squeeze in a day in Fes Al Bali. Can anyone tell me how long it takes to get to Fes al Bali from Casablanca by way of train or other ground transportation? And, does anyone have any info about El Jadida?
Also, is renting a car a good idea?

Casablanca sightseeing in Morocco
Posted: Thu July 12, 2007 04:56 PM UTC
45 years ago I was a GI stationed outside Rabat in Morocco. While there I spent time in Rabat, Casablanca and Fez. I want to return for a vacation allowing about 3 weeks or so. I understand the country has changed dramatically. I would like to drive throughout Morocco and hire a local guide ---who can provide verifiable references ----...Do I need a special drivers license? What is the safety like considering the political climate in other muslim nations? Any idas, suggestions would be appreciated. Tks in advance

Casablanca Scrapyard in Casablanca
Posted: Sat June 23, 2007 07:59 AM UTC
I'm going to Casablanca by car next week. As far as I know the border officials attach a document to your passport so that you have to take your car back out of Morocco when you leave. I don't intend to return by car. I want to leave the car in Morocco.

Does anyone know if there's something like a scrapyard in casablanca? And if I sell or scrap my car, will this free me of the duty to get my car out of Morocco on leaving the country?

Kind regards,

Baldur
