Distrito de Braga Visiting Guimaraes and Braga on the same day

OK, now I'm getting in trouble. I was planning to spend one day visiting Guimaraes - then took a second look at the Guimaraes and Braga lines from Porto:

It looks like if I left Porto around 7:30 AM, I could be in Guimaraes until around 1:30 PM. I don't like to spend time eating lunch, I usually bring something with me, so I would have abour 5 hours in Guimaraes.

Then I could travel back to Trofa, and get on the train to go to Braga. I could be in Braga for about four hours, then head back to Porto.

Comments?

If this is doable, sensible, not way too rushed, is there a way to purchase the tickets to include all the segments? (Porto - Guimaraes, Guimaraes-Trofa, Trofa-Braga, Braga-Porto).

Guimarães Transportation from Porto and "the safety question"

Have decided to visit Guimaraes as a side trip from Porto.

Is it easy to get from Porto to Guimaraes? It appears that the train connections change, so I do not know if there is a better way.

Once in Guimaraes, is it also a place where tourists get hassled? Is it OK to go as a woman traveling alone using public transportation?

There is an option of a tour that goes to Braga and Guimaraes (yuk) - but I will consider it if going on my own will be a hassle.

Any experiences/advise/suggestions?

Braga Horário de autocarros (ônibus) para Guimarães / timetable to Guimaraes

Does anyone know the timetable of the buses from Braga to Guimaraes, specially during weekend days?
I can access by Internet only Rodonorte buses, but I know there are other options, which I cannot consult by websites.

Pela Internet, somente é possível consultar os horários da Rodonorte (escassos nos fins-de-semana). Sei que outras companhias operam no itinerário referido, mas estas não possuem website.
Obrigado pela atenção.

Gostaria ainda, se possível, que me confirmassem os endereços das estações de autocarros nestas duas cidades. Muito grato.

Pico What to pack to bring to the azores

My husband and I are traveling to Pico, July 25th 2008,
Will it be wise to bring my laptop or is the wireless ability not that great there?
ALSO Blow dryers and irons, should I bring adapters with me seeing the power there is not the same as here.

I would appreciate any tips and suggestions you can give me in packing items.

I'm trying to find a way to travel by bus from Guimaraes, Portugal, to Santiago de compostela, Spain. I've tried searching the webpages of Eva, Rede and rodonorte bus companies, but found there's no direct bus from guimaraes to santiago de compostela. Can anyone help me? Thanks a lot!

Does anyone know if Braga Train station is wheelchair accessible?

I am trying to find out if its possible to travel from Porto to
Braga by train for a person in a wheelchair?

Im going to the game Italy vs Denmark this night and I have 2 questions:
I1) I want to go by car, from Madrid, i would like to know ihow long would it take, if i need to stay for a while in the border, or iftheres a big line in it ?
2) if i go by train i need to be in entrocamento at 23:00 do any of you know if there`s a bus available after 7:00 pm ??
