Sharm El Sheikh Who to book your transfer with
Posted: Fri August 22, 2008 09:35 AM UTC
Hi all,
I have come across various sites on the net who provide transfers. I believe there is a shuttle bus that can take you to your hotel for half the price of a taxi. My holiday does not include transfer fees and would like to book one myself at the cheapest price. All forms of transport will be considered!!

Many thanks guys.

Sharm El Sheikh Where to stay
Posted: Wed August 20, 2008 06:48 PM UTC
Hi all,
We are a party of 2 younge couples going to Sharm in mid October. We are new to Sharm so have no idea as to where to stay.

I have come across a hotel called Delta Sharm Resort which is close to Naama Bay, which we believe is the place to be for nightlife and nice beaches. The price seems very cheap considering that it is a 4* hotel. The reviews of Trip Advisor are mixed so we would consider this resort and make our own minds up for ourselves.

We are late 20's so nightlife is a must but nothing to tacky! Hotel with nice complex, clean pools, accommodation doesn't have to be 5*!!

We dont mind being hotel bound as long as the settings are right. We would consider going B&B/H/B to get out and about, this way we get to taste the local cusine/Sisha :o) and can please ourselves as to where we eat.

We aren't looking at spending a fortune on the holiday so will compromise on some things!
Generally how much is a 2course meal for 2 and how much are drinks when out and about.

Any recommendations on hotels would be great.
Many thanks for all help and advice.

And also on accomodation regarding which beach is best.

Sharm El Sheikh Where to stay?
Posted: Tue August 5, 2008 07:54 AM UTC
HI,

We are hoping to go to Sharm in middle of october (for the lst time) we are looking at all inclusive (and hopefully not too expensive). Can anyone tell me if it is cheaper to book seperately, or as a package? Also can anyone recommend a good All inclusive hotel, with a nice beach? I have read that some hotels you have to get a mini bus, but if possible I would like to be beside the sea.

Many thanks

Sharm El Sheikh Is there any self catering apartments in Naama Bay??
Posted: Sat August 2, 2008 09:56 PM UTC
I've always gone all inclusive when i go to Sharm, now i fancy a change. I would like to eat out more in Naama Bay. I never really saw any apartments, most looked like hotels.

Could anyone tell me if there is any? Also, ones that can be booked through a UK travel agent. I.E Thomas Cook, Thomson etc...

Thanks in Advance :)

Sharm El Sheikh Sharm during Ramadan
Posted: Tue July 29, 2008 06:32 PM UTC
Just realized my intended visit to the Sinai fell during Ramadan. While I would still like to go during mid September I now question if it would be wiser to wait until the Holiday is over.

How is Sharm during the Ramadan holiday?? Is there much going on or will everything be closed?? Or, will I basically be confined to my hotel/resort?? I certainly do not want to offend anyone by being out and enjoying my holiday but would rather wait until another time to visit if my trip will be compromised.

Thanks.

Sharm El Sheikh Please reccomend a hotel
Posted: Mon July 28, 2008 07:00 PM UTC
Greetings, I am looking for a hotel in Sharm El Sheikh and am hoping to get some feedback on where I should stay.

As I will only be in Sharm for 3 nights I think location is central. Can someone reccomend a nicer (but not over-the-top) hotel that has a good beach and is walking distance to a lot of the shops and clubs?

Hi all,
Considering a winter break of around 3 weeks over Xmas & New Year. What weather can I expect in Sharm?
If it is reasonably good weather can anyone recommend any reasonably priced accomodation. I will be travelling solo and prefer an apartment / room to a hotel.
Cheers,

Sharm El Sheikh flight to cairo
Posted: Mon July 21, 2008 07:46 PM UTC
Hi we are going to sharm in September and would really like to tale the trip to Cairo to see the pyramids etc. We are keen to do this by flight instead of bus. Could anyone give us a rough idea of the general sort of cost we would be looking at. Also if anyone has any idea of cost for the quad biking in the desert. Many thanks.
