Just wondered if anyone has stayed at this hotel, After being messed about by Thomas Cook, who informed us that they have changed our hotel, we have had to cancel and do a quick panic rebooking ourselves, We picked the Tropitel as we know it is central in Naama Bay, and we have already booked to go diving with Camel, so wanted to be near them, I have seen some reviews and they are really mixed, So anyone know what the rooms, pools, food etc are like.

My girlfriend and I (25&24) have booked a week of all inclusive at Sultan Gardens in the middle of June. Has anyone stayed there? Keen to know what it is like..
Also, a mate of mine told me riding dune bikes in the desert is awesome, anyone have any further info?
Also, what else should we check out?

We've booked our holiday arriving on the 13-05 at the Hyatt in Sharm.
My husband and I would like a babysitter everyday so I contacted the hotel.
I really wanted to relax during these holiday.
I am looking for a 8 hours per day childcare.
The hotel was just able to give me a price per hour, which is 100 LE, so total per day would be 800LE just for looking after our 2 and a half year old son in the resort.
We'll stay in the resort as well.
Kid's club at the hotel in for 3+, and my son is 2 and a half.
Not what I expected...
Do you know if there are any babytitting agency in Sharm?
I'm even considering taking an au pair for 10days with us as it would cost us the same.

I am going to be staying in Sharm at the end of July, and have booked a trip to Eilat just for the day, Any fees for crossing the taba border are included in the price, so that bit's sorted. But what I an not sure about is, when I first arrive in Sharm do I need to get the visitors visa on landing, I know I need one if I want to go to Cairo or Luxor as I am leaving the Sinai, is crossing the border to Eilat leaving the Sinai?.

Coming from Cairo for a few days on the Red Sea, which would you recommend? Why?Just looking to relax on the beach and snorkel, anywhere from 4-7 days. Not necessarily looking to party, but a variety of restaurants and bars would be good. Is one location more touristy than the other?

We are considering a holiday to Sharm El Sheikh this August and have been offered 3 hotels. We are a family of 4 with children aged 11 and 9. We love the pool but like to have access to the beach and kids facilities.

The 3 hotels we have been offered are the Zouara, Horizon Sharm and the Resta Sharm. 2 are in Nabq Bay and 1 is in Om El Seid Hill. All are all inclusive. Does anyone have any advise as to which one would suit us best or just in general for Sharm?

Places to go and things to see? Costs of things etc.

We have been to Sharm el Sheikh for the past 3 years and are off again on 8th May. However until recently i did not even know there was a water park in Sharm!!!! In fact each time we go i say to my husband "I cant believe no one has put one in here!" so i am pleasantly surprised to discover that there is indeed one and that i believe the best is Aqualand and not Cleo?

My question is - does anyone know if First Choice do excursions there or is it something i need to do independantly? Im one of htese people that always likes to do things through travel reps rather than venture out alone but if i have to go it alone i will cos i love water parks!

my boyfriend and I are planning a trip to Sharm El Sheikh in October. We're not sure however what hotel to stay in. We like the look of The Crowne Plaza, The Radisson and the Sheraton but we will choose based on the best location.

Firstly I'm hoping someone can confirm for me the differences between Sharm and Naama Bay. Are they two seperate towns? If so which is better?

We would like to be close to a town centre and be close to markets etc. However if there is reliable public transport between resorts and the towns then it wouldn't be so bad being a little bit further away.

If someone could confirm the locations of all or some of the 3 hotels I have mentioned I'd be really grateful (unfortunately google maps isnt the most accurate for hotel locations!).

We have seen the Renaissance Hotel and thinks it looks like a wonderful place to stay. However, we are looking to go all inclusive and can only find the hotel as a bed and breakfast deal. Does anyone know of any tour operators that do deals at the hotel for all inclusive?

I am going to Sharm El Sheikh for about a week and want to visit Cairo and Luxor during the stay. I just want to have some advise abut different ways travel from Sharm to Cairo and Luxor. And is there's nice and cheap local one day tour to Cairo or Luxor? also I was think of renting a car but not quite sure if it's safe and easy to drive around especially those famous sightseeing places??

please can you tell me what the price of a pint of lager is in Sharm and also cocktails?

As I understand it, Hurghada compared with Sharm El sheikh, has more character, has more city life and is less sterile. Hurghada also seems to be better placed for visitiing Cairo, Luxor and other places on the Nile. I also understand that both places are good bases for diving. On the other hand Sharm, I hear is less windy. however It looks like Hurghada, for me is the bet place to go. Is there anything wrong with my uneducated conclusions? Can anyone confirm or deny any of this?

Hi. I hope someone can help we are first timers in egypt staying AlL Inclusive at Three Corners St George and really looking forward to it.... 7 weeks away... yeeee hhhaaaaa cant wait.
We are staying for around 2 weeks, (myself, my partner and my 9 year old daughter)

1.Please can you tell me ref: the excursions such as Glass bottom boat, dolphin show, bedouin night, waterpark and definately snorkling and approximately the price of all of these trips plus more

2.Also can you hire the life vests and fins as both myself and my daughter are not very strong swimmers and would love to go out deep snorkling. With regards to the snorkles How much would they cost to hire or buy?

3.Does anyone have a list of excursion that we can do and approximately the price? Also is it possible that you can swim with dolphins and how much would this cost?

4.We have also read that in Old Sharm/Marker you are requested to "cover up" as this is a muslim country. please can i have an idea of what to wear that is cool from the heat (I know this may seem a sily question)

5. Any advice on tipping and who to tip and how much

6. Does anyone know if the three corners have a ATM?

7 I have also read that you can only buy "duty free" within 48 hours of reaching Sharm is this true.

8. Can you book excursion through the Three Corners, st george reception.

9. Does anyone know what the rep is like for the wings group (booked through On the beach. com)and are they helpful.

and also any other advice that can be offered to me to make the family holiday really enjoyable.
