Hi, Me and my friend will be going on holiday with my family in august we are both 16. We want to go out clubbing and to the strip on are own a couple of nights of the holiday will we get served in any bars/clubs. Would we be able to get into Kiss/Kadoc? We are tempted to get some fake ID for the holiday would that be a good idea? Would we be ok drinking in restaurants and bars with my family without ID?
Also is there any go karting anywhere in Albufeira as we would really like to do that too. Or even quad biking or something like that? What is the best beach in the Algarve for water sports? |

My wife and I would like one of those "typical" whitewashed little buildings in a smaller fishing village for a couple of weeks in May/June 2013. Golf will be a major focus of the trip and we plan to rent a car for that but would like a place with a quieter and more authentic feel than a mega resort/golf course. We'd also like a place with a restaurant/bar or three close enough to not have to drive to (or more accurately from!). We're coming from the US but she also carries a NL passport. We can book from either.
Anyone steer me in the right direction? TIA Bob |

Hi there,
I stayed in Olhos D'Agua last year and loved it.....quiet and beautiful beach. This year I'm coming back but on my own with my 3 year old daughter. We did big things like Zoo Marine last year and this year, risking the weather at the end of April, I'm trying to have a cheap and cheeful trip. I don't remember seeing any playgrounds in Olhos D'Agua but does anyone know if there are some or where they can be found in Albufeira. Also looking for some cheap things to do and fancy mini golf.....anyone know where this can be done (I presume in Albufeira). Just need a few easy cheap things to keep the little one entertained so any ideas would be great in the area! Thanks Rich Thanks |

Hi all,
We are planning a week in holiday to Alufiera in the 17th April 2012, although I am a safe and responsible driver I was wondering if its worth me hiring or organising transfer to and from the airport. I have 3 young children 7,3 ad 2. I beleive you can also hire a satnav to take you around but its the safety element I was more worried about.. could anyone recommend which option is safer and if its easy to driver there ? On this note would it be cheaper to book the car hire from the Uk online or should I got there and book at the airport ? + we are looking at attraction, there doesnt seem like much there, and ideas on where we can go for 2 out of the seven days ? Also, I have been told the weather ranges from 11 - 20 degrees, could anyone recommend what clothing we sould take and what the average temp is around mid April time ? Thanks in advance Sunny |

Hey!
My boyfriend and I will be visiting next month on the 21st - 28th of April. We already know that the weather will be hit and miss, but are wondering how touristy Albufeira is this time of year? Also, we're having a hard time finding things to do, besides zoo marine. We will be hiring a car so any suggestions can be as much as two hours drive away. any help would be much appreciated! thanks! First time to Portugal, Arriving May 5 2012 1:40pm
Looking to take a train as a option, not sure what is best. There is a train leaving at 2:30pm and 5:30pm. Not sure how close train station is to airport and if there is enough time to make 2;30 train or catch 4:30 Not sure if hireing a car is better. Looking to book train on line, not been able to find site yet although I think you can only book 3 months in advance Any suggestions or recommendations is appreciated. |

My daughter and her friend will arrive in Lissabon at 20.15 p.m. and have to travel from there to their final destination in Albufeira. The last Eva bus apparently leaves at 20.15 p.m. from Lissabon so this is not an option. Is there another possibility? Or is it better to stay overnight in Lissabon and continue their trip the next day?
Really like to know what (safe) transport is available at that time in the evening. |

Hi all :)
Just wondering if you could tell me what the weather may be like in Albufeira in April, we will be arriving on the 14th for a week, I have read on some websites that it can be raining & cloudy and have seen on others it can be very hot, so am I right too presume that it's just kind of hit & miss, and hope for the best? Also we are staying in Clube Praia Da Oura, a Studio Apartment, once again I checked reviews, some say it is way too small for 2, others say it's plenty spacious enough for 2, so if anyone has stayed here can you give me your opinion on it? All information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :-) |

Hi,
I'm traveling to Albufeira at the end of June/early July with a group of friends - we are all eighteen - for a post exam holiday. We have heard that the Strip in the New Town is best for nightlife and so we are trying to find a hotel that is located there. So far we have only found hotels which are closer to the Old Town which is obviously quite far from the strip. Are there any hotels which you would recommend that are located in the heart of the night life? Any help would be greatly appreciated :) |
