Hello all in Lagos; seems like a lovely place.

I have a question though. My mate is having his stag out there; which he took the liberty of booking himself! which he should not have been involved in!

He has organised a shark fishing day out amongst other things. There will be at least 20 well mannered Irish lads around from the 4 to the 8th of sept. I would like to make contact with someone who might be able to offer some advice on what to do at night for our group of lads; as it appears it is a quite town with little or no nightlife.

Again a stag is all about having good healthy fun so a healty supply of girls is necessary; so please spread the word that 20 minimum irish lads; ranging from 25-30 will be descending on your town. Any suggestions; referrals or other comments please write me at eughaz01@yahoo.co.uk.

I have just been advised by my tour operator that building works are taking place adjacent to my hotel Plaza Real Apartments in Praia da Rocha that may cause some disruption to our holiday. Can anyone tell me how close they are to the hotel and how bad it is. We are due to travel in 4 weeks time for a holiday we have been looking forward to for some time and don't really want to cancel it!

hi we are off to albufeira in july, and going to have a couple of days in lisbon going to travel by express bus you can get on either in bus station or centro of albufeira we know the old town a little as this will be our 3rd visit can any one explain where centro bus stop to albufeira is please.

I am thinking of staying at the Pestana dom joao in Alvor, can anyhone tell me if there is pavement access into Alvor. Thks

We are staying in s/c accommodation in Tavira for the first time in September and wonder if anyone could name some good restaurants/bars and general places of interest. We are not young, but not old (if you know what I mean), so rowdy bars which drink into the wee hours are not our scene anymore (been there, done that etc etc) but we do like music/atmosphere etc.

I am hoping to book a short, relaxing, week-end trip to Faro in June. I have seen this hotel which looks perfect but obviously it isn't cheap. I don't mind paying as long as it is worth the money. Does anyone have any comments please?

I am hoping the weather mid-June is normally settled and sunny.

What are bus schedules from Faro to Seville Spain. Where is the bus depot in Faro
and Seville.We need to travel between Saturday noon and Sunday 5:oo PM The end of my trip will be in Malaga.Suggestions for a hotel in Seville near the Bus depot.

Hi there,

We are travelling as a family unit and have booked apartment vista-a-mar on the boulevard, armacao de pera. It sould fab, 10 metres from the beach, in fact, across the road from the beach! My concern is that I have recently been in armacao de pera, and although I have spotted the building, which scared me, to be honest! It looks pretty run down from the outside and maybe I should not be worried at all, as it is the inside that counts.
Can anybody out there tell me if they have ever stayed in this property? I have put down a deposit already but it is important that this turns out ok as I am more concerned for my mother who is eldery and travelling with us. I chose it initially for its prime location and for walking purposes.

We fancy Ferragado and Faro,we've been to portimao and Lagos any ideas or any other useful tips would be great

I'm off to Algarve in May and want to know what the weather will be like then - Is it primarily warm and i can survive on shorts and a t-shirt? Or will I need warmer clothing?

Also, want to go enjoy the nightlife in Albufeira and was wondering what the 'going-out' dress code is like over there? Can you wear flip flops? Do you need proper 'going-out' shoes???

Is there a local bus service to and from Albufeira/Olhos d' Agua/Vilamoura and if so how often do they run ???

Can anyone confirm to me that there are still regular trains running from Portimao to Tavira and if so, how frequent are they.
