Stag Do in May....How Busy?

Hi we are looking to book a stag do for a group of 9 mid late 20 year olds, early mid may, just wondering really how busy will it be? We want a reasonable nightlife, understand that it'll not be like summer season.

Transportation into and around Albufeira

I will be traveling from Lisbon to Albufeira. Is it better to take the bus or the train? They both have itineraries that depart at about the same time. I will be coming from the Lisbon airport. Once I arrive, I will be staying at the Sheraton. What is the best way to get to the train or bus terminal to the hotel? Thank you for your help!

Algarve/Albufeira Work summer 2011

Hey all,
I was wondering if anyone has picked up any hospitality work in Albufeira or Algarve in general over the busy summer months,
I was looking at coming over from Australia in June/July 2010 and would love to pick up some work down there.

I speak Portuguese and have had 6+ years of hospitality experience, everything from restaurant to nightclub.

I also have a EU passport.

Wild and Co. would be awesome, anyone have any contact details for them?

Accomodation in Odeleite

Hi, I'm sure no-one will be able to answer this one, but it's worth a try. Does anyone know of any accomodation available in Odeleite, between Alcoutim + Vila Real? I mean in the village itself or very, very near. It would make a great stop-off on a walking holiday but I can't find anything.....

Algarve region in November

Hi,

Is it worth detouring to Algarve (Lagos, Faro) for a day or two during the month of November (thirk weekend)? I'll be traveling from Lisbon to Seville via bus and learn that I will need a stopover in Algarve region along the way. Is it worth staying overnight for a day or two given the average climate conditions (wet and grey)?

transport from Faro to Malaga

I am travelling in October without a car and need to either fly, rent car, travel by train to Malaga Spain. Firstly are there any cheap airline traveling to Malaga from Faro or can you get a train? Alternatively can I hire a car cheaply one way? any help is appreciated!!

Myself and a friend are planning to go to albuferia in mid september around the 14th - I was just wondering how busy it will be ? Will it still be good for going out drinking and clubbing ? And and and what will the weather be like ?

Does the village of Olhos d'Agua have an old part or is it all only new blocks and holiday homes?

Mobile Internet in Canabas de Tavira

I will be staying in Canabas de Tavira from Sept 2009 - April 2010 and wonder if there is anyway I can get an Internet connection. There is none at the condominium where I will be staying.

Is Mobile Internet an option in the Algarve?

Me and my boyfriend are going to stay in the ST Eulalia Beach Club for a week from 29th September.
Firstly, does anyone know what that accommodation is like? Also, I was wondering which is the best water park and where are the nicest beaches?

December weather in the Algarve

I am planning a trip to the Algarve with family members in December. We are coming from the states so any temperature warmer than 32 degrees Farenheit will be fine. Can someone tell me what kind of weather to expect and will we encounter rain. I realize that we will be speaking of averages.

Private Roof Terrace or large balcony

is there any hotel or apartments have a private roof terrace or large balcony with sunloungers to sunbathe in private.
Dont want a private let as there isnt usually a bar or restaurant on the resort. Also like the option of having sunloungers around the pool and having a snack in pool bar.Also want to be able to walk to the shops and other restaurants

Looking for the least expensive and reliable way to get from Faro airport to hotel in Alvor...noticed Faro Airport tarnsfer and Algarve shuttle companies...are these OK and good to use?

Pestana Viking Hotel, Lagoa (Porches)

Found a last minute break at this hotel and thought it looked lovely. On Trip Advisor there was one very bad review (most recent) and the rest were very positive. I usually take the TA reviews with a grain of salt - everyone has their own idea of what is good or bad - but I would like to get a few more opinions on it.

Has anyone here stayed at this hotel recently and if so, would you recommend it?

How much will things cost in the middle of September?

I'm hoping to take a one week holiday in September, and would like to visit Portugal.

How much would I spend in terms of accomodation and food/drink costs? i would probably stay in lower end accomodation.

I'd also like to visit one or two of the nearby islands. Any recommendations for where to go, what to see, where to stay?

5 of us are thinking of going to Albuferia in October 2009, just wondering if its still busy? Whats the nightlife like? Going there for the nightlife, so wanted to check everythings still buzzing & not shut down!
Also, can anyone recommend any hotels that are right near "The Strip"?

Im looking for a nice place to stay in the Algarve, or anywhere eles at the south-coast of Portugal.
We are by car, therefore we are looking for a very special place out of Tourist centers.
Do you know a nice place at the Beach with hotel or camping?

Apart from Algarve Shopping are there any shoe outlets in or around Algarve. I know that in UK a lot of the shoes sold are made in either Spain or Portugal and wonder where I could buy these?

could anybody tell me about the weather in the first half of Oktober? I know that the average temperature is about 22 c, but what about the temperature of water? Is it enough warm for swimming in the sea?

We are visiting Alvor in October and according to the details for our apartment there is no parking. Can anyone give us an idea of where we might be able to park our hire car whilst we are there. Hello, Planning a week's holiday 1st week of August with family with a 4 yr old. Pls. suggest some clean comfortable family/kid friendly resort on or very near the beach.
