Hi,

I'm planning a group trip to the area that Sigiriya is located in. How is the weather there during this time?

I have not been back to Sri Lanka in more than a decade, so I'm excited to go.

I wish to find some nice accommodation in Polonnaruwa. I have read reviews of the bigger hotels (e.g. Royal Lotus, Rest house, Sudu Araliya) but they are not very good - the hotels sound tired and the service is bad. I would therefore like to find a nice guesthouse with nice rooms and hot water. Could anyone recommend one?

Could anyone tell me how long (time)and how much($) it takes to get from the Colombo International Airport to the Central Bus Stand?

What district of Colombo is the Bus Stand in? in Colombo 1 or 2 or 3 or…?

And can I get to Kegalla (Kegalle) from the CBS? Thanks a lot in advance and many blessings!

I want to visit Kandegedera, Devalegama but cannot locate this area on the map of Sri Lanka. If anybody knows where it is, North, South, or the center, pls, let me know. Aslo, has this area been affected by the tsunami recently?

i am planning a trip across india and would like to visit sri lanka as well. is it possible to get to lanka from india by ferry boat these days. if it is, then from port in idia should i set off? if it is impossible, then what is the southernmost place in india where i can take a flight to lanka?

Hi. My boyfriend & I are planning to stay in Sigiriya for a few days & wanted to then make our way down to Arugam Bay. Does anyone have any advice on the best route to get there? I was thinking of going through & sopping overnight in Batticaloa but haven't seen much on this part of Sri Lanka & if it's safe traveling through there?

How long would it take for a privately hired car for the trip from Sigiriya to Colombo?

I am planning on leaving Kandy by hired car, catching sunset in Sigiriya and staying one night, visiting the rock area for the morning/afternoon, and then trying to get back to Colombo by that evening.

what would be the effects of a sound and light show at sigiriya gardens have on the site

I'm travelling from Colombo to Anuradhapura in October. Could someone tell me about train times. Also in a 2 week stay hoping to also include Kandy, the elephant orphanage, Nuwara Eliya and some beach days, how long would be a good time to spend in Anuradhapura
