Is there a safe and secure parking lot at the Clark airport where I can leave my car if I'll depart and arrive there after 2-3 days? If so, how much are the rates? I plan to drive from Manila instead of taking the shuttle bus.

Angeles City Condotel in Angeles - Serviced One-Bedroom (Month-to-Month)
Posted: Mon March 6, 2006 09:09 PM UTC
Looking for a nice, value suite in Angeles that rents month-to-month. Doesn't really have to be a condotel, just month-to-month.

Looking at:

1. One-bedroom furnished apt. with king-size bed.
2. Serviced, aircon, hot water, electricity, with satellite or cable.
3. High-speed internet access.
4. Quiet, safe, and clean.

Thank you! Money's not a problem but I hate getting jipped! Thanks!

Angeles City wondering
Posted: Sun May 15, 2005 04:27 AM UTC
just wondering if anyone knows if angeles city is still the red light district of the philipines, i've heard rumors that the gov'mt might be shutting it down or it is shut down...but if it is still up and running, my friends and I are thinking of going down there...I was wondering if you got to book a hotel in angeles city ahead of time or could we just take a flight there and book there right there on the spot...if anyone knows when the best time to go down there as well, someone told me it rains most of the year...and when the most tourists go there would be very helpfull...I know there are alot of questions here but if you just have an answer for one it would be very helpfull thanks alot............

Angeles City Need Info on Angeles City
Posted: Fri April 15, 2005 08:23 AM UTC
Hi,
Recently I bought what was suppose to be cheapest flight to Manila, only to notice that the plane will land in Clark Airfield. I will arrive there at 4pm, so since Manila is so far away (2hrs?), I looked at the map and voila, there's a city called Angeles. Anyway, have tried to read about the city from the net but not much info there. Manage to browse through some hotels there on the web. I would like to know:
1. Is Clark that far from Manila? (2hrs?). I have already booked a hotel in Makati area, and my flight coming back to Malaysia is at 1140am on a Sunday morning, which means I have to leave the hotel early in the morning? No traffic jam?
2. How much is the taxi from Clark Airfield to Makati? Is it the cheapest and easy to hail one?
3. Is Angeles City worth going (for 1 night?). I have seen the Swiss Chalet hotel, is it reccomendable? Is it easy to get hotels there, as I have try to book online or go to travel agents in Malaysia, but they don't have hotels listed in Angeles City! What to do there apart from party? I am opting for this because there is no point to take 2 hrs journey and reach Manila at night.
4. Is the place safe and easy to travel around? Me and my travelling partner are both chinese guys.

I hope you can help me clarify this things to make our travel save and memorable. Maybe anyone in the VT is from Angeles?

Cheers

Angeles City MT. Pinatubo in a day from Manila?
Posted: Sat February 5, 2005 07:26 AM UTC
I will be in Manila from late evening Wed 09 Feb through early noon 12 Feb. I am considering hiking around or up Mt. Pinatubo. Can anyone comment on:

1. Is it possible to do a day trip from Manila (even if it's a very long day) and, if so, how to get there and back? Ideally I'd like to head out early Friday morning 11Feb and get back to Manila by 10-11pm that night.

2. Is this a worthwhile place to go in terms of enjoying nature?

Thanks
