I will be traveling to Clark Air Base and would like to go into Manilla and San Pablo. What is the best (and cheapest) form of transportation for each? Can a vehicle be rented or would a bus be better? Would anyone know the approximate price to take a bus from Clark AB to Manilla and then to San Pablo? Thanks

I was wondering if there are any places to camp close to Angeles City. I will be bicycle touring and hence cycling upto 30km from the town to a campground is perfectly acceptable.

Google maps shows Clark Picnic Grounds. Is camping allowed here?

My motivation is to save some money on accommodation and at the same time, make your stay more interesting.

I will be bicycle touring Philippines next Feb-Mar. I'm flying in to Clark Airport from KL with AirAsia.

Can I bicycle out of the airport into Angeles City? Are there any roads/highways which do not allow bicycles?

I have read a lot of negative comments about cancellations, etc. I am travelling in May and will have a connecting flight in Singapore to catch. I fly into Clark Intl/Diosdado Macapagal Intl/Pampanga (CRK)from Macau at night - say after 8pm. Will there be any buses to Batangas at that time? I heard there might be an over night bus, but cannot find any info.
As a family - arriving at such a time - would you recommend
1. Get a bus to Manila/ Bantagas
2. Stay the night and bus out in the morning

Hi, I will be visiting the Philippines and I have some practical questions:

1) Do you have tips for a place to stay in Angeles (from where I can book a Pinatubo tour/trek)? And should I arrange this trek in advance? (I would like to do the trek directly the day after we arrive in Angeles)
2) We will go directly from Manila airport (after arrival) to Angeles, probably it's best to take a taxi? Is it correct that it will cost about 2000-2500 PHP?
2) Do you know if there's a direct bus from Banaue to Manila and if so, do you know something about the departure time?
3) Do you know if there's a flight from Manila to El Nido on Palawan?

Just a question about having to pay additional costs at the airport. I have a return ticket to manila from SIngapore flying by tiger airways. I'm assuming i'll be landing in Clark airport. Would i have to pay an travel tax or service costs upon landing at Clark? And would i have to pay when leaving Clark to go back to Singapore? And are there any other possible fees or costs that i might have to pay?

ALso, another quick question, how much does a taxi ride costs approximately, just say from Clark to Metro Manila? Or just in general, if just say travelling 10 kilometres, how much would that cost?

Must be a few of you that play this silly game. I dont want to carry my clubs there every time I come so looking for a good used set from someone that cant break 40 handycap. Also prices for and location of courses. I assume that Clark maintained the military course/s. I plan on making AC my home base so having a small place to hang my hat and clubs. Reasonable price of course as I will be using it only on a part time basis but want to have some security so when I am not there I can trust everything will be in order when I return.

I'll be in philippines in september and would like to know is there any buses from clark/dau to banaue directly? We will land at clark around 11am and hope to reach banaue the next day. If yes, what is the departure time and how long is the journey?

This is the route we plan to take :
Clark – banaue – sagada – baguio
Baguio – pagudpud – Bangui – paoay – vigan – sta maria – baguio
Baguio – manila – donsol – tagaytay - manila

It would be good if you have any bus information on our route above. We are 2 people traveling on budget and not prefer to fly.
