Hi, would like to hear about travel experiences with Tiger Airways from Clark to Singapore. I have read a lot of negative comments about cancellations, etc. I am travelling in May and will have a connecting flight in Singapore to catch. Also would like to hear about other experiences with Jetstar Asia to Singapore or any budget airlines. Is travel insurance necessary? Thanks

I fly into Clark Intl/Diosdado Macapagal Intl/Pampanga (CRK)from Macau at night - say after 8pm. Will there be any buses to Batangas at that time? I heard there might be an over night bus, but cannot find any info.
As a family - arriving at such a time - would you recommend
1. Get a bus to Manila/ Bantagas
2. Stay the night and bus out in the morning

Hi, I will be visiting the Philippines and I have some practical questions:

1) Do you have tips for a place to stay in Angeles (from where I can book a Pinatubo tour/trek)? And should I arrange this trek in advance? (I would like to do the trek directly the day after we arrive in Angeles)
2) We will go directly from Manila airport (after arrival) to Angeles, probably it's best to take a taxi? Is it correct that it will cost about 2000-2500 PHP?
2) Do you know if there's a direct bus from Banaue to Manila and if so, do you know something about the departure time?
3) Do you know if there's a flight from Manila to El Nido on Palawan?

Just a question about having to pay additional costs at the airport. I have a return ticket to manila from SIngapore flying by tiger airways. I'm assuming i'll be landing in Clark airport. Would i have to pay an travel tax or service costs upon landing at Clark? And would i have to pay when leaving Clark to go back to Singapore? And are there any other possible fees or costs that i might have to pay?

ALso, another quick question, how much does a taxi ride costs approximately, just say from Clark to Metro Manila? Or just in general, if just say travelling 10 kilometres, how much would that cost?

Must be a few of you that play this silly game. I dont want to carry my clubs there every time I come so looking for a good used set from someone that cant break 40 handycap. Also prices for and location of courses. I assume that Clark maintained the military course/s. I plan on making AC my home base so having a small place to hang my hat and clubs. I come to the Philippines often and would like to have any info available on long term rentals. I have been sailing for many years around Asia and would like to have a place on land. Reasonable price of course as I will be using it only on a part time basis but want to have some security so when I am not there I can trust everything will be in order when I return.

I'll be in philippines in september and would like to know is there any buses from clark/dau to banaue directly? We will land at clark around 11am and hope to reach banaue the next day. If yes, what is the departure time and how long is the journey?

This is the route we plan to take :
Clark – banaue – sagada – baguio
Baguio – pagudpud – Bangui – paoay – vigan – sta maria – baguio
Baguio – manila – donsol – tagaytay - manila

It would be good if you have any bus information on our route above. We are 2 people traveling on budget and not prefer to fly.

How far is it actually from Dau to Clark?

I heard someone say it would take around one hour, but also read it was only 5 km.
What is correct?

I will arrive in Dau around 0600-0700 in the morning, and my flight leaves at 1145. It should be more than enough time, right?

HI My question is upon arrival at Clark Airport, is there a direct Bus from Clark airport going to Manila city (Makati). If there is a service how much will it cost me.

Need a list of the shopping malls in Angeles. So far, I have Nepo Mall and Saver's Mall. Is there an SM mall or Robinsons's mall in Angeles?
