Based on experience or word of mouth, does anyone know which hotel on Bora Bora has the cheapest overwater bungalow price?

I AM REALLY CONFUSED WITH BORA BORA AND MANIHI WEATHER. WE WILL BE DEPARTING ON SEPT 28 FOR A WEEK TO BORA B. AND MANIHI. I HAVE HEARD THE ATTOLLS HAVE USUALLY BETTER DRIER MORE SUNNY WEATHER IS THAT TRUE?

We are thinking of honeymooning in Bora Bora. We would be leaving England on about 20th September and want to know whether that is a good time to visit weather-wise. We are hoping to go away for 3 weeks - does anyone have any ideas about a good itinerary for a 3 week stay in that part of the world?

Me and my Girlfriend are Travelling for a Year and are planning to spend a week in Bora Bora. We would like to Stay on Metira Beach/Point and have read a little about Chez Nono & Village Pauline. Can anyone help with the following questions?

1) Best Beach next to Pension between Chez Nono & Village Pauline?

2) Best Value for money Pension between Chez Nono & Village Pauline?

3) Any other pension that can be recommended instead?

We are trying to decide which one to stay at. We have heard positives and negatives about both, but if anyone can share their experiences at either place we would be very thankful. We will be on Bora Bora in March of 2005. Can't wait!!!

I am looking for the most remote, luxury resort that honeymooners can stay in. I'm talking a lot of distance between you and any other visiters, but good service as well, such as drinks and food brought to us. Having the room over the water would be ideal but right on the beach would be fine as well. Please help.

I wanted to bring some small "thank you" gifts for locals we run into during our honeymoon in Papeete and Bora Bora this October. Can be stuff from Hawaii, San Francisco or Los Angeles. Any suggestions?
(When traveling in Asia and Europe we always bring shot glasses from the above cities, but that doesn't seem right for French Polynesia! Dunno why.)

I seen Bora Bora recently on a travel show & have fell in love with the idea of going there on my honeymoon. However because of the price I would have to really scrimp on my wedding.

So I was wondering if anyone knows if you can get married on the island? This way I would still get the honey moon of my dreams & a lovely wedding.

We will be staying at the Le Maitai in January on a package deal and I am concerned about room location. If you are familiar with the property, please send ANY information you may have. Is it worth it to upgrade to beach or O/W bungalow? Any information is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Meg

where is the best place to stay in Borsa Bora? My honeymoon is in may 2004. please help. Money is no object, he has lots so I want it to be the best trip ever!!!
