Visiting Camiguin Posted: Thu May 15, 2008 04:13 AM UTC
Me and my friend are planning to visit camiguin later this month of may. We've checked tour packages offered by agencies but they are all at high-end cost. We want to keep our visit simple. where do we get the best and satisfactory accomodation services and tour services (refering to the bunch of resorts and hotels listed on the web) yet at a low price? say, we want to rent a cottage or a room just for us, then tour camiguin during our stay. our visit will be for 3 days/ 2 nights. we are both from manila, newly graduated. we appreciate your insights and suggestions. thanks so much.

camiguin tour Posted: Thu February 7, 2008 05:46 AM UTC
hello! Im planning a trip to camiguin for 3 days and 2 nights on March. can anyone help me with the best resort to stay? and is it like bohol like on the port area there are lots of van/car for hire? like a day tour or something? if not, how can we get to the resorts? i mean like if you dont have any package deals or resort reservation..like if you are not sure on what resort to stay unless you see it on hand. i have a camiguin highland resort package rate for 3 days and 2 nights at P6,100.00 per pax with the inclusions of the following:
Welcome drinks
Pick up/drop off
Room accommodation
All Meals
One (1) day Island tour – Katibawasan waterfalls, Ardent hot spring, Sto. Nino Cold Spring, Sunken Cemetery, Walkway to Old Volcano, Sodawater Swimming pool
Boat transfer to White Island
Free entrances to Tourist spots
Gov’t tax 12% or VAT
Im going there with my bf..so it will be 12,200 for the 2 of us? (please note that there room rate is just 1,995.00 per night.) you think its reasonable or i can save much if ill just go there and tour on my own? are there motorbikes for rent? any help will be much appreciated!
thanks

resort options Posted: Mon January 28, 2008 10:27 AM UTC
your site is very helpful... I planned a vacation last year to laoag... just thru your site... and same with I went to panglao too...
On those time I was hesistant to post a question...
Now that I am confident with your site...
I want to ask...
I am planning a vacation to camiguin this feb with my family.
I am torned with two resorts:
Paras beach resort since it is has a shore line and it is near white beach...
Enigmata their concept is really really nice...
And I want the best of both worlds... does enigmata have a shoreline too?... bec the pics on their site does not show any...
I want a resort with a beach front...
with nice sand...
I heard that the sand in the white beach isalnd is as fine as the one in bora? or even finer... is that true?

camiguin, here we come! Posted: Thu January 17, 2008 10:23 AM UTC
Hi! your forum has been very helpful. my friends and i are going to camiguin on feb. i need to know some more details. we want to maximize our trip coz we will be arriving mid morning and leave next day before lunch for davao. which is better..enigmata or jasmine by the sea, ardent or tangub hot spring, sto. nino cold spring or pamunglo, bura soda water pool or agoo soda water spring? we want to have a "feel" of each category but time is limited. is one really different from the other that we can't forego going to one? please help. thanks in advance. ;)

1 1/2 Day Itinerary for Camiguin Posted: Fri January 4, 2008 09:27 AM UTC
Hello everyone! My friend and I are traveling to Camiguin and we only have 1 1/2 day to tour the island. Can anyone help us make an itinerary? We will be arriving on March 27 around 2;30pm at Enigmata. What are the places we could visit around that time? Note that we want to end the day at Ardent Hot Spring before we go back to Enigmata. Do we still need to hire a tricycle on that day? If so, how much would it cost to hire one for half (or even less) day? The next day will be spent touring the rest of the island.

White Island in the afternoon? Posted: Thu December 27, 2007 07:42 AM UTC
Has anyone been to white island in the afternoon? Is it still advisable?
I've ready in a blog that the island disappears in the afternoon. Also, does anyone know the earliest and the latest ferry schedule both cdo-camiguin and vice-versa route? I'm planning to arrange my trip for January. Thanks.

pls give advice on our plan side trip to camiguin island-sat and sun about 1 1/2 dys Posted: Sat November 3, 2007 03:32 AM UTC
i find this forum very helpful, thats why i want also to ask if you cud share or give advice on our trip. we will be goin there this nov., at 6am we will leave cdo and travel to balignoan to benoni ports. i plan to go to places highly recommnded like katibawasan falls, sto nino cold spring, ardent spring, white islnd , sunken c., and engma house. Just want to make sure that we could enjoy these places 1 1/2 dys since the next day noon, we will be trvllng back to cdo to catch an afternoon flight to mla. if we wud hire a multicab, how much is it by now and whose to contact? if we will tour the island, is it really true that we could do it from 9am till 6pm to which we cud drop off to falls and spring ive mentioned to swim/enjoy atlst 2 hours, then to have snorkeling (is it really snorkeling or hw deep the sea-i preferred not so deep water) at sunken cemetery at abt 2-3hrs?, and tour remaining spots (actually i preferred water trips) i plan to stay at ardent hot spring (do they have accommodations?-how much) to sleep over and early in the morning at 6am go to white sand till 10am then goes back to ardent and at noon, check out for our trip going back to cdo. is this possible? how long it will take from these places? how much will cost us, like the ardent accommodations and what are the contact nos.? we wud very appreciate your help. thanks......

shall i take a package tour in camiguin? Posted: Wed April 25, 2007 12:52 PM UTC
there is a package tour for camiguin @ P2300 all in except for the transfers pier to resort v.v. the problem is, there is no thrill or excitement if we will avail of the package tour. is package tour cheaper than having it on our own? if we will have it on our own, our accomodation would be P1600 and the day tour is P1500 without the entrance fees and white island trip. help pls.............
