We will visit Ilocos Norte this November, just wonderin if its ok to put a camp anywhere in Saud or Blue lagoon? if there is can anyone suggest which is better place to camp?

Hi to all we're booked to flight this coming saturday-Oct.24,via cebu pacific, our ETA Laoag is before 8pm, unfortunately due to typhoon Ramil which is now affecting the Northern part, we're still thinking & deciding if we will going to push with our travel, is there anyone who could give me an advise regarding the ff.:
1.) Expecting to arrive before 8pm, is there any trip going to Pagudpud at that time, we're planning to stay at Polaris,? How much is the transpo from airport up to Polaris? & how to reach Polaris resort?
2.) Since our main trip is visiting Pagudpud particulary Saud Beach, could someone tell me how's the beach & the sand as of the moment?Is it advisable to visit the place on Sun.?do you think we will enjoy the place?
3.) How much is the cost of day tour in pagudpod?Can touring be done in one day?
4.) The food cost at pagudpod? coz we're on a budget? hehehe..

I would be coming from the direction of Cagayan Valley. How many hours is it to Vigan? What iteniary would you suggest for me to maximize my sightseeing, I would like to stay have an overnight stay at pagudpud before I head back to Cagayan Valley..I have Wednesday and Thursday (2 days)for the trip ; however I need to be back at Cagayan Valley on Thurdays night to catch my plane back early Friday morning. You suggestion is much appreciated.

I had been reading posts after posts here but I still can't figure out which is the better place to stay if you have children. Saud or Blue Lagoon? My family and I will be or planning to stay at the resort for 3 days and 2 nights, I'm sure my kids will be spending most of their time at the beach. I read that Saud beach has a stretch of orange sand which means it has some sharp remnants of rocks and shells. Is there a part of Saud beach that is white sand? How about Blue Lagoon it is a bit further but we're willing to add another hour just to insure that the kids do not get a couple of scrape and cuts in one day. How about snorkling where is the best place to do that in Pagudpud? Thanks for any input..

Were planning to visit Ilocos province this November 27-30 2009, were just concerned about the current situation of Ilocos region after the typhoon this October 2009, more specifically the tourist spots in Ilocos Norte (Pagudpud) and Vigan. were just worried that this would cause delay in our long time planned trip. Also can anyone suggest which place is better to stay in Pagudpud, SAud or Blue Lagoon? were group of 8 persons also on a budget :)how is the accomodation rates during this month (November)? looking forward to your suggestions.. many thanks..

I plan on spending a few months in Pagudpud learning to surf. I have a few questions about the city.

1. Is there a decent gym? I am a power lifter so I need a good amount of weight and for bench, squat and dead lift.

2. I read that there are huts on blue lagoon for $200php per night. Has anyone stayed here? How are the rooms?

3. How is internet access in Pagudpud?

Hello.... I am planning to go to Laoag soon. I plan to stay there for half day, tour the place, etc. In the afternoon, I plan to go to Vigan. How many hours does it take from Laoag to Vigan by bus? Once I am in Vigan, same thing, tour the place then stay in a hotel. In the morning of the next day, i plan to go to Pagudpud. Tour the place first then at 1 pm,I will check in at Kapuluan vista resort. How many hours from Vigan to Pagudpod?..the next day after checking out, i plan to go to kabigan falls or any mountains... I don't know if these plans are right. I hope you can recommend something maybe even better plans..

Hi Does anyone have tried nabca cave in pagudpud? how was it and how much will it cost for the tour?

Can someone please give us a list of hotels in pagudpod that allow dogs/ pets. We'll appreciate it very much.

We are planning to go to Ilocos, by bus this last week of May (so this is still considered as high season) and we chose Florida (deluxe bus) since they do a trip from Manila-Pagudpud 550 pesos, however, I'm not sure if it's better to go first in Pagudpud where we will stay for about two nights, can u also tell us please which is better to tour first the Northbound or Southbound? how much will it cost us? After Pagudpud, how and where we can get to Laoag can we also have those that we can visit here here.. One thing more in Vigan can u provide us an itinerary if we are going to stay there for one night only is it nice at Grandpa's Inn, how true that there are cameras peeping in each rooms? are they always And lastly, do we have to go back to Laoag in order for us to have a nice trip going back to Manila or there are buses already in Vigan where the buses have comfort rooms? And lastly, what if the weather is not good what can you recommend us to do if we are stuck into each of the places that we are heading to.. I think I raised too many questions, but I am willing to accept all your suggestion, because I hope that my visit to Ilocos would be fun, enjoyable but at the same time cost efficient.. I badly need your suggestions people, thanks so much..

who does have photos to each rooms of the beach resorts in pagudpud... cuz at first we are thinking Polaris, then Kapuluan, and Apo Idon? which do u suggest among those resorts if we want something a bit affordable and at the same time cozy, just perfect for a couple... please help...

we want to go to laoag city, have lunch in a picnic park ovelooking the see in patapat bridge and stay overnight in pagudpud in a beach resort, i've been to these places before with friends but i can not remember now, i want to bring my family and share to them the beauty of these places. kindly send me tips and directions how to go to these places, where to stay with affordable rates etc. we plan to commute from baguio to vigan then to laoag then pagudpud. are there cheap hostels also in laoag and vans for rent to go to pagudpud, how much?

We will be going to pagudpud during the Holy week, Just want to ask if there are tric/jeepneys that are accesible when you dropped off Bangui going to the windmill. And from windmill going to Pagudpud? We really need some infos, because we're on a tight budget but the we want to enjoy the trip... Any suggestions?

we are planning to stay at Polaris beach resort... how many minutes from there to reach the blue lagoon? then how much is the rate getting a tricycle?

before heading to Pagudpud from Laoag city... we are planning to drop by Burgos for the lighthouse and the falls... are there jeepneys for Bangui? then Bangui for Pagudpud?
