Hello! Me and my friends (4 of us) was supposed to go to Sagada this November 09 however due to some fortuitous events, we decided to postpone but instead we'll go to Davao. In line, with this could anyone please have a heart to help us plan our trip in Davao to be happy and memorable one.

1. itinerary for 4D3N (where to go and what are the activites)
2. where to stay for the duration of vacation(nice and affordable)
3. how to go from one place to another (based on the itinerary)
4. where to eat
5. estimated price for each place to visit, activities and transportation

hi! me and my friend (both female) are going to davao. We plan to stay in pearl farm for one night but would like to also try another resort/hotel for the next night since our flight is at 1pm. Can anyone please recommend an itinerary for the 2nd day or a different resort/hotel? I am getting married and wanna relax but wouldnt mind a little adventure if its worth the trip. No super budget hotels thanks. Please help. thanks!

Im planning to visit Davao by end of March 2010 in time for the Holy week, I know its a bit to far, but I want to plan ahead. Would appreciate any advice for places to visit and what to do in Davao. I will be staying for a week so there's a plenty of time for me. After so much googling :) I finally decided to stay at Sampaguita Tourist Inn, any comments please?

And any festivities for that specific dates :) aside from Holy week?

as i mentioned on my previous forum, i want to go to davao on august and my plan trip will be on the 21st to 25th.. i want to witness kze the kadayawan festival and also to see the beauty of davao.

can i do that at the same time? i mean.. while having the festive, can i still go to places like the eden nature park, crocodile park, philippine eagle, samal island, etc? di kaya super dami tao? :) and also, should i book now for my hotel eventhough malayo pa august? lastly, can you suggest for a 5 days itinerary..

I am going to Davao for the first time in early Feb and I would like to buy some fruits for my pasalubong. Some questions:

1. How much are the prices of pomelo and mangosteen now?
2. Is it still the season for these 2? Mangosteen is very expensive here in Manila =/
3. Is there any particular brand of Pomelo that I should look for? Or all pomelos from Davao are sweet? I remember one brand - Nenita, but I forgot if it is sweet.
4. Where is the best place in Davao to buy these fruits at the cheapest price?

I know this is really short notice but can anyone help me plan an itinerary or at least give out information about 6 resorts in samal ( and how far they are from each other and are there accessible transfers and how much) which i can visit this saturday - monday. excluding pearl farm --what are the resorts that are about priced mid - high range? I plan to stay overnight on sunday at bali bali beach resort or blue jazz. can anyone give some insights?

im scouting for good resorts in samal which i can recommend to friends and maybe start a small business, i really dont know yet. im looking forward to this trip and i really hope someone can help me out.

Friends have recommended we stay at either Sampaguita Inn or Oroderm Hotel when we go to Davao this February. Any first hand experience of these 2 hotels? Which would you recommend for a party of 6 adults? We will need 1 single room, 1 matrimonial bed room, and 1 room for 3 adults. Preferably with aircon and ensuite bathrooms. WIFI would be a bonus.

Also need good location shopping wise.

Would also need a van for our day tour. Any budget van rental and driver/cum tourist guide you can recommend?

I've been to Davao once and I enjoyed it so much I want to bring my family along and 1 Balikbayan friend. Would appreciate your help.

Hi guys,I changed my mind on staying Marco-Polo hotel because its expensive.Now Im planning to stay in Bagobo House hotel / Sampaguita Inn?Are both of this hotels close to the airport?And just walking distance to some must places to see in Davao?Thank you for your help!

1. ETA davao 0555hrs Dec 6 then will proceed to Pearl Farm to avail of their day tour package.

2. Around 5pm, back to city proper then check-in at Sampaguita Inn. Dinner at
Jack's Ridge

3. 2nd day: White waterrafting and visit crocodile farm.

4. 3rd day: Zip line at Camp Sambros. ETD 0600hrs

5. City tour in the afternoon.

6. ETD davao 2030hrs dec 08.


My questions are:

1. How much is the estimate taxi fare from airport to marina?

2. How far is the Crocodile Farm from Sampaguita Inn?

3. Do you have any idea how much is the van/fx rental from Sampaguita Inn to
Camp Sambros? Would you recommend someone? We are 7 in the group, is it more
economical to commute?

4. Any suggestions where we could go or visit any nearby spot if we still have spare time after each destinations?

I am planning of visiting Davao in last week of December.Just 3 days and 2 nights only.I am interested in Pearl Farm tour package.My question is how many hours to take the ferry?I really need to know this before making reservations because my husband has a seasick problem.Is the sea rough this season?Any answers greatly appreciated.Thank you.

How can I go to General Santos City from Davao City. I know I just need to take a bus but I don't know where to get them. I will be staying near the Davao airport and I hope someone can give me directions to the bus station for Gen San. May I also know the travel time between the two cities.

just want to say thanks for all the tips i got in this forum...i really enjoyed my stay in davao...friday, i went to pearl farm and got 2 know friends there then i go with them to buy pomelo and then to aldevinco and at night meet a guy and went to jacks ridge. Saturday, walk to peoples park coz i stayed in Sampaguita,meet a guy and im very thankful to him coz he has a car and take me to Phil eagle and eden and ponce. at night went to Rizal Park ( indak-indak), San Pedro and then eat in Times Beach. Sunday, go to Penongs infront of Peoples Park and eat my lunch, alone...dont know where to spend the rest of my afternoon so i just walk around and went to Gaisano Mall Ilustre buy 2 Davao shirts since it is sale...hehe coz im not feeling well, decided to have a massage after that,travel going to airport, i saw onyok velasco, carlos morales in airport, they also went to kadayawan...what a very wonderful experiences i have in a clean and safe city...

We will GO to DAvao on Dec 9-11. Our 1night stay in Pearl Farm doesnt include LAnd Transpo from Airport to Pier, and pier to the resort. They said we have to pay 200/person from airport to pier and 500/person from pier to the resort. Is it normal?? Is it not too expensive. Is there any way we can pay less to go to the PEarl Farm???

Can we not take public transpo from airport to the Pier. What Pier and where should we go??

What about the Schedule of the boat to go to Pearl Farm. IS it only once in the morning and once in the afternoon???

Do you have any infors about 1 night stay in PF(with dinner) that is cheaper than 95dollar?? Their website gives 95 without transpo pick up and dinner only brkfst.. Do you know anything cheaper than this????

Also, i looked at the crocodile park website about water rafting. How can we get other people to go w/ us because we are only two.

Could you also recommend us some cheap hotel in the city that will only cost 800-100 since we are only going to stay there for 1 night..

To travel to CDO from Davao?

I dont know what the route/s is/are exactly and would like to know if it is actually safe to travel as i am aware that there arent plane trips from Davao to CDO.

Heard that just last july a bus was bombed somewhere in Davao.. I am alarmed, i mean who wouldnt be, so kindly refrain from mockery when replying to the query.
