Can anyone give me any information on Lara beach and/or the above hotel?

Is there any nightlife in Lara Beach? I'm getting mixed reports.

Also, is it easy to get to/ from Lara Beach to Antalya at night?

Hi. would like to spend 2-3 days in Antalya for Honeymoon then we are on to an apartment in Side. Would like a bit of luxury and on the beach if possible. Originally wanted to go to Istanbul but cannot find direct flights from UK, so any ideas would be really appreciated. Thanks Kaz

Hi, I will be in Antalya in October, and would like to travel to Damascus from Antalya.
I have elderly people with me so taking a long coach journey is not my preference. Ideally I would like to fly, but I've been told I can only do this from Istanbul and then it would not be a direct flight to Damascus.
Can anyone tell me how to get to Damascus and back to Antalya the easiest way possible?

Hello. I plan to arrive at Antalya airport at 1:10am, and I want to get to Anamur as early as possible.

But, since the arrival time of my flight is so late (or so early), I wonder what time I can take the bus to Antalya otogar.
(I find the bus timetable, and it indicates the last bus leaves the airport at 1:10. Is it means the bus leave just before we get to the bus station, or is the time has been changed?)

And, I also have no idea wether or not there is direct bus bound for Anamur from Antalya, and if it is, how often these buses leave Antalya.

Could anyone tell me any information, please?

I will be going to Turkey for a month next week.
I am flying with one of these 3 days cheap deals (it is cheaper than buying a plane ticket alone) and same for return.
I am unable to find any last-minute internet site which enables booking in the numerous hotels of Antalya. Are these last-minute promotions available at all in Antalya and is there any inetrnet site / agent I can find out with ?

I will be flying to Antalya the end of this month. I will stay one night in Antalya and then I hope to catch an inter-city bus to either Bodrum or gumusluk the next day. My family is currently in that area.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a hotel for the one night and any guides about bus transportation for my trip the next day? I'm looking to the Virtual Tourists that live or travel in that area.

I have heard that Belek in the Antalya region is a good place to watch the Sea Turtles lay their eggs. Is this true? I am going the first week in July, which would be good season for them... what are my chances of seeing them? Are there organised trips?

i go with my family to 7 days in anatalya in this summer and i have sime questions to the people who live there:
1.where i can find bazaars?
2.i can buy in the bazaars in anatalya fenerbahce and galatasaray footbal clubs Tshirt's? i mean fakes of the official Tshirt..?
3.if i can find this Tshirt's...how much they cost?
4.i can dind also scarves of anatalya football club, galatasaray, fenerbahce and turkey nacional team? if yes..wha't the price of them in the bazaars?

This is my first time reading about Antalya (and in Turkey) . There's a possibility I could be there in May. Does anybody know about the Sungate hotel? their website doesn't seem to have much info - I want to know if this hotel is right on the beach ? (website seem to say so, but I can't find pictures). And is it near other attractions as well - not just the beach? I want to have a mix of relaxation at the beach, at the same time, seeing some historical places around.

I an hoping to travel to Antalya for 1 week on the 24th of May 2007 with my husband and three children aged 5yrs, 3yrs and 9 months. I would like to find out about things to do in the area that are suitable for children, there doesn't seem to be much on the internet. Can anyone suggest good places to go and also tell me what the beach is like. I have heard from some people that Antalya is all about clubs and bars which is obviously not suitable for young children..

We will be traveliing to Antalya from 14 August till 24 August,we are looking for a nice family villa for 8 + 1 baby with a private pool in Antalya.

Are there direct domestic flights from Ankara or Istanbul to Antalya?
Is the airport in Antalya international or only domestic?
Are there train services from Istanbul or Ankara to Antalya? Do you recommend them?

We will be needing a big car, possibly a van for our stay in Antalya, can you please advise where I can find such a vehicle with good rates?

Im hoping to get feed back on a few things about a trip I have planned to Turkey in Sept.

One: My hotel is called Vera Forest Resort. The hotel is located in Camyuva area of Kemer. How far is this from Kaleici(old town) and the yacht harbor? What would be the cheapest way to get there from Kemer?

Two: Im gonna be there for 4 days, maybe 5. What would you recommend doing, as far as sightseeing. Also any recommended day trips would be cool too!

Three: Any recommended restaurants that are a must.

Four: Is swimming in pools and in the ocean ok in Sept. or would it be too cold. I'll be there the last week in Sept. I could go earlier if you think it would be too cold.

Five: and Lastly, How are the people in Turkey? i've heard mixed things. Are they nice to tourists or no? Not that it really matters to me but i'd like to hear your feedback.

going to Antalya end of march in a package deal ( I think)
everyone tells me this is much cheaper than taking a flight and looking for lodging separately. thing is I hate these huge hotels with loads of package travellers. So bearing that in mind which hotel should I go for: Lara, Cender, Delfin or Marmara?
anyone stayed at any of these and can recommend?

Hi All. Does anyone know if it's worth to go to Antalya in March? My main priority is a nice quite place that I can swim in the sea with my 1.5 year old daughter. Would the air/sea temprature be warm enough any time in March for that kind of thing?

Also is it advisable to drive from Istanbul to Antalya?

Antalya is one of the easy airports to reach from where we live (in Norway). We're a family of 4. In past years, we've been travelling around southern Spain and Montenegro/ Croatia by rented car, finding cheap hotels along the road.
Would that be possible/ adviceable also in Turkey? There are so many places of interest in South Turkey, so the prospect seems very tempting.
Time: 20 june -> 2 weeks.

What do you think of that hotel and what is weather usual in that period of year (January 26th-February 3rd). I know I can not sunbath, but what is temperature, are there many raining days...
