Hi I know there is a bus from the international airport to Antalya Otogar, it's very comfortable, fast and much cheaper than a taxi - but does anyone know whether it departs from outside International terminal 1, International Terminal 2, or Domestic terminal? Fast response appreciated as I'm flying in on Thursday. I do know that most employees at the airport don't know of it (or didn't when I was last there)

My Turkish is so poor, I cannot find bus schedules for Antalya. Could somebody please help me?

My ship docks in Liman Port near Antalya for one day. I'm unable to find information about Antalya public transport on-line.

Can I take a public-transport bus from the Liman Port to the Antalya Museum?
Can I take a public bus from the Kaleici back to (or near) Liman Port?

How often do the busses run?

We r planning to visit turkey from Saudi Arabia via Jordan and Turkey by road with three kids from 6 to 9.

I am plannig to pass through Antakiya, antaliya, Pamakule Denzili,Ephsus izmir,, Troy if possible and then head to Istanbul. Are 10 days enough for trip if we r not visiting each and evry spot and limit ourselves to sightseeing imp historical places as hieropolis at pammakale and ephsus.

We 'll try to enjoy scenic beauty of meditranean and agean regions as we pass through.

Is it complicated driving ur own car on turkish highways?

How much time and are direct buses run to denizili?

I'm thinking of visiting Antalya for a week in september - during Eid Al-Feter - does it affect with Ramadhan and Eid in Antalya? i mean are there any special events or local traditions during this period?

I want to stay in the city - not the beach - where is the best area to stay in to explore the city and the shops and restaurants? what do you think of "Puding Suite" i read nice reviews about it http://www.pudingsuite.com/

I also read about the ski resort "saklikent", when is the ski season ? and can we visit it in sept. or it is closed? i want to visit mountains by cable car, is there a place to do so near Antalya ?

last question, do you think renting a car is a good idea? I read about the waterfalls and i would love to see them, are they reachable by car ?

A newspaper has offered me a "free" trip trip to Antalya. I looked for the catch and it seems to be that we have to visit several sales shows with pushy sales persons,also it's a fully guided tour and we wouldn't have much influence on what we see and do.
One of daughters has been learning Turkish for several years now and would love to go. Travel time would be in the early January.

I don't know anything about Antalya,except that friends like to go there for the beach. We're not interested in a beach holiday and in January it would be too cold anyway.The hotel would be the Gyposophila, which seems to be quite a bit outside the city.

Should we book half board in the hotel (as advised by the tour company) or is there an easy way to get into the town?
Would you advise renting a car? Any suggestion for an easy day trip, in case we can spend some time on our own?

I appreciate any information. So far I've only had a quick look at the VT pages, but will check them out later.

Me and 3 of my friends are going to turkey in august. We have some problems in deciding were to go. I have been to Alanya once before, therefore I would like to see a new place. And I liked the idea of Antalya, as we want to do others things than only going to the beach (shop, nightlife, boatours, rafting, aquapark and other activities).
But then I got a call from my sister, who is currently in Side, saying many said they prefer Side over Alanya and Antalya...

One other quesion. I was wondering if there are balconies on this laguna hotel? and if there isn't any beaches closer than 2 km away?

Last year I travelled through Turkey and finished by jumping on board a traditional Turkish gulet from Olympos to Fethiye. It was amazing!! Such a beautiful trip, good times!
