i want to go from copenhagen to Malmö for 1 day during August festival there...I have options 15/8,16/8,17/8...what day is it more lively and interesting in the city and on what day of these the festival has to offer something better..??
Cause i din't know which day of it to choose to jump to Malmö...
By the way,is there any place with the festival program/schedule in English?

Is there a fee to drive over the Oresund bridge?

I am going to visit by car the Malmo-Lund area starting from Copenhagen and return by the Helsinborg-Helsinor Sound Ferry back to Denmark. I start on Sunday 13 April and want to be back to Denmark on Tuesday 15. I would love to visit the cities and see nice villages ad, preferably stay in small hotels on the way. Has anyone any suggestions on this plan?

I just returned from my first trip to Sweden, and more or less accidentally *found* Malmo. I was completely enchanted by the town, and upset to return home and find that I hadn't captured a front-view photo of the marvelous Hogskala in the harbor area. I've been trying to describe it to friends and on my blog, (http://lyricflight.blogspot.com) and words don't do the building justice. I've also been trying to find out who the architect was, but have come up blanks there, too.

Does anyone have a picture they'd be willing to share?
Can anyone tell me who the architect was?

Hi,
Could anyone suggest me a few week-end family tour starting from Malmò ? Preferably by train (not by bus) since my kid has vomiting tendency on bus/ car. Cheaper option always preferable. Ideally we can start on Thursday/ Friday night from Malmò and return back to Malmò on Monday/ Tuesday morning. We would like to enjoy natural beauty and species as much as available in & around Europe.

I'll be in Malmo next weekend but it will only be a flying visit, about 24 hours in fact.
Can you recommend some essential sights for that length of time. Its a Saturday night i'll be staying there aswell so if you know some good pubs, i'd be interested in hearing more :)
Also, anything of historical significance would be good too, i'm a bit of a history freak you see :)

I understand there is a bus that takes you to/from Malmoe to Sturup Airport. Any idea how often it runs? Where to take it from and where it drops you off? Hoe much does it cost?

Will be Malmo the Friday night before New Years Eve. Have previously been to Malmo in Summer and headed to Lilla Torg for drinking (and then on to Slagthuset). Is Lilla Torg still the place to be in Winter – it seemed a bit more designed for being outside?

I've just booked the flights to Kastrup and 3 of us intend spending the week in Malmo with a quick trip over to Copenhagen for the Celtic match on Wed 6th. We're leaning towards staying in the Accome Mozetti, anyone have any comments on this hotel chain?

When I was in the navy around 1970 or 1971 in July I saw a soccer match between Santos and Benefic. Does anyone know the actual date? It was a friendly.

I am heading to Sweden in a couple of weeks and I could not find out from the internet how can we travel from Malmö to Kalmar. Could anyone help me with any information in this issue? We will arrive to Malmö on 26th August in the afternoon and we planed to go to Kalmar in the same night if there is any train or bus in the evening. Anyway, how far is the station of it from the eirport? Is there any possibilities to go directly to the train/bus station from the airport? I would be so happy to get any information.

We are planning to participate in a conference in Malmö in (mid) May. Looking at some pages we haven't decided yet how to get there (drive, or maybe fly after all?), nor have we decided yet on a reasonably priced hotel. As driving is an option, a hotel a bit outside of town would be fine to.
Any suggestions on the trip there? Flying after all, maybe to Copenhagen+train to Malmö? Smaller hotels/B&B in the area? And last but not least - is there maybe a (small) VT-meeting planned?

My name is Margaret and I'm from Sydney about to go on exchange to Malmo... I know this is a travel forum but if anyone can help me out with my question it will be much appreaciated!

I just want to know if there will be any maths subjects that are taught in english in the autumn semester? I've checked the website and it doesn't mention any. However I've heard that at Uppsala apparently if a maths subject is taught in swedish, if just one person needs it to be taught in English, they will change the language of instruction to English. Is this also the case at Malmo?

I'm visiting Malmo with my family and friends for my 30th birthday from the UK. Please can those who know Malmo help me with which hotel to choose as it's a bit hard trying to get some information. I'm undecided between either the Radisson Malmo SAS or the Ramada Mayfair or the Hotel Savoy - All are similar prices, which one would be the best for location to the central square and / or station, any other advice / preferences...

Well, I'll be heading back to Malmo soon but unfortunately the delightful hotel I stayed in last time (Hotel Baltzar) appears to be fully booked up. Does anyone have any recommendations for reasonably priced hotels in either the area near Lilla Torg or perhaps Möllevångstorget?
