Bodrum Travelling out half term
Posted: Fri October 19, 2007 09:33 AM UTC
Hi,
We have an apartment in Yalikavak but have only been out in May and August in the lovely weather. We are now coming out at the end of October and I can see the weather will probably not be good. Any ideas please on where to go and what to see to try and keep out of the rain and amuse a 7 year old?! So far we haven't travelled much at all as we have been working on our place.
Many Thanks
GillJo

Bodrum Hotels in Bodrum
Posted: Tue July 24, 2007 11:25 PM UTC
Can anyone suggest which hotel would be a good choice. My daughter and I want to be probably in central Bodrum as we enjoy it's nightlife. We know it quite well but not the hotels as we have either stayed in Gumbet or out on the peninsula. We would like a reasonably comfortable hotel with good pool.

I have found good deals for the Azka, Salmakis, Indian Summer and Majesty Marina Vista. Can anyone recommend which of these if any to stay in. The Bardakci beach is a plus but wonder whether these hotels might be a bit too "British" and kiddie orientated. The Indian Summer looks to be north of the main road into Bodrum? I can't find any info. on the location of the Majesty Marina Vista.

My budget is around £250 for the week for our room.

I'll be staying near Bodrum next week and the temperature looks like it's going to be above 40C!!!

I was thinking of going to Ephesus to see teh ruins but it may be a bad idea if teh weather is so hot. Do you know how long it takes from Bodrum to the ruins? I have no idea and I'm trying to decide whether to bother or not.
Thanks

Bodrum Bodrum or Kusadasi ?
Posted: Wed April 18, 2007 10:10 AM UTC
Hello everybody!
We are a bunch of friends who are waiting for the summer to visit Turkey again.
Last year we stayed in Kusadasi, but we heard that Bodrum might be a better choice.
We would like to know how is the night life in Bodrum compared to Kusadasi, and the same about the beaches.
Not least, we would like to know if the prices are much bigger in Bodrum than in Kusadasi.
Thank you very much!!!!!!!!!

Bodrum Club Dedeman Bodrum
Posted: Wed March 14, 2007 06:47 PM UTC
Hi!! We're arriving in Bordrum from Istanbul. I'd highly appreciate it if any of you could answer a few queries about Club Dedeman Bordrum:

1) We will be arriving by an overnight bus. Does anyone know where the bus would drop us and how far would this resort be from the bus stand? Approximately how much would a taxi to the resort cost?

2) We're planning to stay at the resort for a week and we have self catering apartments. But we would like to explore the local cuisine. How far would we have to go to get to the popular restaurants in the area? Are there any good eating joints within walking distance?

3)Any day trips that we can take from Bodrum? What are the interesting sightseeing places that we can go to from the resort?

Hope to hear from you soon and thanking each of you in advance :-)
