Hi everyone first time on this forum so i apologise in advance if i do anything wrong. My hubby and me are looking for long term rentals in torrevieva from feb/march 2010.we retire at xmas and it has always been our dream to live abroad, we did intend to sell here and buy over there but i had to have a kidney out last november due to cancer i was lucky as i didn't have to have anymore treatment but there is always a chance of a secondary one so i think our best bet is to rent although we have no idea how to go about it so any advice would be extremely welcome. We can rent ours for around £500 a month so somewhere around that would be fine. I look forward to hearing from someone as i can't wait to get there even though it's not till march but we are planning a holiday in sept/oct as near as possible can't wait for that either.

Hello,
I read on another Web site that on the beach near Valencia (wherever the bus drops you off, I assume) you can rent chairs, and buy food/drink... is this still true, and if it is about how much are the chairs, and are they generally secure? I'll most likely be alone, so I don't want to avoid going in the water afraid my bus pass will get stolen! Thanks! |

We are going for a 'girlie' weekend in July, ages are between 30 and 47, we are looking for a good nightclub to suit us all? We are too young to hang out with the pensioners but dont want to look like a bunch of 'muttons' in a club full of teenagers, any ideas?

Hi. It would be so great to hear anyones experiences of gran alacant. It is about 15 mins drive south of the airport. Can you walk to the beach? Does it have some shops? Is it in the flight path? Hi I'll be in spain this june for three weeks and i plan on studying in salamanca for two of those weeks. for my third week, i was interested in studying in alicante, and i was wondering if it would be worth coming to there only for one week. my main reason behind coming to alicante would be that the hogueras festival would be taking place then. and the fact that i may not return to spain for who knows how long makes me want to make the most of it and experience all that i can. but again im not sure if i should just stay put in salamanca or take the 3rd week in alicante?

I was in a baby shop called baby king last year it is in the industrial estate beside the La marina shopping centre.. The problem is I cant seem to find their website would anyone know how to find it. Im expecting in May and my mum and dad are for Calpe in May so they were going to bring a buggy back for me. Hi, I am going to Benidorm on the 26th of this month and wondered if anyone can tell me how to get from alicante airport to Hotel Presidente as cheaply as possible - please?? I am travelling with my elderly mother and wondered if there was a convenient way of getting from airport to hotel without costing over a 100 pounds (as quoted by private taxi)!! Thanks.

Hi, I'm an Italian girl and I'm planning an holiday in Valencia. During my journey there will be the Superbike World Championship at Ricardo Tormo. I will be staying in an hotel at the center of Valencia and I really really don't know how to get to the Circuit in Cheste. I've search the Internet and I've found Bunol bus services and some Renfe regional train that can take me to Cheste. There is any other way to get STRAIGHT to the Circuit? Thanks a lot!!

Hey Again,
I recently posted another topic about getting to Valencia and such. Now I'm here and having a great time! But now I have another dilemma. I am going to the Universidad Politecnica de Valencia and from what I see, their gym facilities are not that great, and I'm really itching to work out and work off all the good food I've eaten lately. Does anyone know of a good gym just to casually be able to workout a few times a week? Also, having it be somewhat close to the university area would be a plus, though I don't mind a light jog on my way to the gym. Any recommendations would be most helpful. Thanks! Vanessa |
