Cheap transients in baguio that also serves dinner/breakfast Posted: Tue April 1, 2008 04:33 AM UTC
Do you know a transient house/room that can accommodate 5 guys in 1 room and 2 girls in another room. 1 house will do. but must have separate rooms coz these two groups dont know each other. The transient must also can cook dinner and breakfast for them for additional cost. I prefer 200-300 per person for transient rates. and just add another 100 or so per head for the two meals. simple meals would do.
Thanks.. need it before July 2008.

How to go to the strawberry fields (plantation) from Burnham Posted: Mon March 31, 2008 07:13 AM UTC
How can we go to the strawberry plantation from Burnham? Also, what are the places to see? We've been to Baguio but would like to see other places aside from Mines View, Mansion, market, Burnham, etc. We'd like to see other places. We have a car, so outside the city is ok.
Thanks

Central & Comfy Accommodation Posted: Mon February 25, 2008 02:45 AM UTC
Greetings once again VT'ers.
GF & I will be back in PH again in April. Looking to be in Baguio from 1st April. Missing the Easter madness I hope. I've read some of the suggestions for acc. from posters like Jane, but haven't found something in budget - Camp John Hay Manor is nice but pricey.
Looking at the $40USD mark and really just nice bed, AC and bath. We'll be eating out mostly.
I would like some contacts (phone or internet) to book either an apartment, inn or B&B. Nothing flash, but something central. We plan to be travelling by taxis most of the time.
Is there like a central area where most hotels or accomodations are located? I saw a lot of places mention they are next to Barnham Park?
BTW - is it OK to negotiate a daily rate with a taxi driver for sight-seeing?
Thanks for your advice. I'm really looking forward to being back.

panagbenga & lodging Posted: Wed February 13, 2008 03:57 AM UTC
hi!
does anyone happen to know where the parade will happen? first time ko lang po kasing magpunta sa panagbenga festival (5th time in baguio) and i don't know kung san ang map ng parade... i see there were some pips here who happen to know the schedule but what i wanna know po sana kung saan ang start & end ng parade with time sched na rin. me and my family w/friends and relatives will be arriving very early morning (sana) on the 23rd. kung aalis kami ng say lunch time the next day, will we miss the exciting schedule of activities? and does anyone with kind heart give us an itenerary? i will be doing one but kung meron po kayong naiisip na suggestions will be warmly accepted as for comparison with the one that i will be making. medyo kabisado ko na po ang baguio pero kasi first time ko lang sa parade so it might be a different one...
and btw, does anyone know a very cheap lodging-transient or kahit ano po- that can accommodate 10-14pips? nagtitipid din po kasi kami... sana po kung merong 100per head lang kasi hindi naman kami magiistambay sa room as we will be always out strolling.
thanks everyone and God Bless!
Cheers!

I only have 3-4 days to spare to see the following: our famous rice terraces, Vigan and Baguio. I will only take public transpo (preferably an A/C bus for long-distance trips).
Thanks so much!

Pinagbenga Trip Posted: Tue January 15, 2008 04:35 PM UTC
hi,
i and 6 other friends will go to Baguio by feb. 22-24, 2008 for the festival. we're looking for a place to stay with reasonable price ranging from 1000-1500 a day. we need about 2 rooms but if there's a room where everybody can fit in is much better. we're just backpackers. as much a possible, it shld be within the city and walking distance from most of the impt. spots within the city. any info you can provide will be much appreciated.
