| Baguio | How to go to the strawberry fields (plantation) from Burnham Posted: Mon March 31, 2008 07:13 AM UTC
How can we go to the strawberry plantation from Burnham? Also, what are the places to see? We've been to Baguio but would like to see other places aside from Mines View, Mansion, market, Burnham, etc. We'd like to see other places. We have a car, so outside the city is ok.
Thanks |

| Baguio City | looking for transient places in baguio Posted: Fri March 14, 2008 04:04 AM UTC
do u know a place (room) that can accomodate 5 persons, tapos another room na can accommodate 2 persons kahit hiwalay po.. for transient? near baguio country club, pwede sa minesview, sa south drive, brookside basta malapit dun.. mga 200-250 per head. and if they also serve dinner at breakfast.
thanks a lot.. need ko sana ng contact nila bago magholyweek para makita ko yung place.. this is for oct pa naman pero holyweek lang kasi ako pupunta ng baguio. next is oct na.. |

| Baguio | Central & Comfy Accommodation Posted: Mon February 25, 2008 02:45 AM UTC
Greetings once again VT'ers.
GF & I will be back in PH again in April. Looking to be in Baguio from 1st April. Missing the Easter madness I hope. I've read some of the suggestions for acc. from posters like Jane, but haven't found something in budget - Camp John Hay Manor is nice but pricey. Looking at the $40USD mark and really just nice bed, AC and bath. We'll be eating out mostly. I would like some contacts (phone or internet) to book either an apartment, inn or B&B. Nothing flash, but something central. We plan to be travelling by taxis most of the time. Is there like a central area where most hotels or accomodations are located? I saw a lot of places mention they are next to Barnham Park? BTW - is it OK to negotiate a daily rate with a taxi driver for sight-seeing? Thanks for your advice. I'm really looking forward to being back. |

| Baguio City | panagbenga & lodging Posted: Wed February 13, 2008 03:57 AM UTC
hi!
does anyone happen to know where the parade will happen? first time ko lang po kasing magpunta sa panagbenga festival (5th time in baguio) and i don't know kung san ang map ng parade... i see there were some pips here who happen to know the schedule but what i wanna know po sana kung saan ang start & end ng parade with time sched na rin. me and my family w/friends and relatives will be arriving very early morning (sana) on the 23rd. kung aalis kami ng say lunch time the next day, will we miss the exciting schedule of activities? and does anyone with kind heart give us an itenerary? i will be doing one but kung meron po kayong naiisip na suggestions will be warmly accepted as for comparison with the one that i will be making. medyo kabisado ko na po ang baguio pero kasi first time ko lang sa parade so it might be a different one... and btw, does anyone know a very cheap lodging-transient or kahit ano po- that can accommodate 10-14pips? nagtitipid din po kasi kami... sana po kung merong 100per head lang kasi hindi naman kami magiistambay sa room as we will be always out strolling. thanks everyone and God Bless! Cheers! |

| Baguio City | Tips for Baguio Vacation Posted: Sat January 5, 2008 01:58 AM UTC
Hi I’m Ervic Sangel! My friends and I am planning to spend our vacation in Baguio City. Although it’s just January, we are yet planning so that we can have the best vacation ever. The problem is that we don’t know some things regarding Baguio.
Here: 1. How much should we spend for 2 days and 1 night in Baguio? 2. What’s the cheapest yet nice/cool lodge/hotel/transient house in Baguio and very convenient as it is near to every hot spot in Baguio? 3. How much should we spend for souvenirs and the like? I hope somebody answers these questions and add more information about Baguio. P.S. Do you think it is better to be in Baguio in March or in April? Just e-mail me: ervic_sangel23@yahoo.co.uk THANKS A LOT! |

| Baguio City | A PLACE TO CELEBRATE THE NEW YEAR'S EVE Posted: Wed December 19, 2007 12:55 PM UTC
We spent our New Year's Eve last year at Camp John Hay Manor. Was really great and our family enjoyed it. It was so expensive, though, at 2000/head. Do you know a place where we can celebrate the New Year's Eve just the same - with all the buffet, live band, wine toasts, fireworks including the torotos.
We want to have the same fun at lower cost. So, would appreciate if you help us find a place to stay to welcome 2008. |
