Place to stay: "Budget - 1000 per night" Posted: Tue December 2, 2008 08:26 AM UTC
Help!
My husband and i are planning to spend our 1st wedding anniversary in Baguio.
Could you suggest a decent place to stay that is cheap, clean and close to the city proper. Our budget is 1000 below per night. (w/ cable TV,hot/cold shower, bathroom).
I've searched Hotel Bonifacio, benguet Pine Tourist, Hotel 45, Paladiin, Baguio Harrison Inn but im not sure if the rates i've found are updated.
Which of these Inn's or hotel could you recommend?
Any suggestion is very much appreciated.
Thank you

Clark to Baguio in the evening Posted: Sun November 9, 2008 09:50 PM UTC
I will arrive at 8.25 pm at Clark on November 15.
I want to go straight away to Baguio. I understand that a taxi will cost around 5000 pesos. But i dont know how long the ride will take.
Q1. Can anyone tell me how the ride will take?
Q2. Do I have to prebook a taxi or can i just get a taxi at the airport?
Q3. Does anyone knows a reliable and save taxi company with an email address?
The alternative is by bus. From some other postings i got this information.
Quote
The best way is probably to ask the taxi to take you to Dau Bus Terminal, which may cost about P300, more or less. Here, about 90% of buses from various buslines stops to unload and pick-up passengers. Take one bound for Baguio. Cost around P400+/-
Un quote
Q4. Are there still busses riding at around 9 pm?
Q5. How long will the ride take?
Thanks

Clark to Baguio to Manila Posted: Tue September 16, 2008 12:46 AM UTC
Itinerary Choices :
One :
Clark to Baguio then cover La Union moving to coast and San Fernando for total of six days.
Two :
Clark to Baguio then fly (if) Asian Spirit to Manila for total of six days.
Itinerary now depends on whether Asian Spirit is still flying to Manila, if not any other domestic airlines plying the route.

Baguio in early December 2008 Posted: Sun September 14, 2008 04:00 PM UTC
Thanks for the replies to my previous questions.
I think i will have to give up on Innsison for now unless a forumner in Baguio is willing to help me out by contacting them.
Does anyone here know where i can stay comfortably in Baguio and have the usual etc etc. I am keen on apartelles because it offers family style stay.
But any opinion or experience is highly appreciated.
My budget is about P2000 to P3000 for a night for my wife and I, a teenage son of 14 and a daugter, 11.
Thanks again
