Getting from Edirne to Plovdiv

How frequent is the bus service from Edirne to Plovdiv--when is the last bus? Approximately, how long is the journey.
I am planning to go from Istanbul to Edirne--spend about 3 hours there and then go to Plovdiv that same day.

Edirne to Alexandroupolis

Hi,

I am planning to go to Turkey and Greece this autumn, travelling overland via Edirne. Does anyone know about reasonable connections (train, bus) from Edirne into Greece, preferably to Alexandroupolis? How long would it take?
