I simply have one question: Is there a distributor in Manila or an online store? I would love to buy packs of it. Cagayan is so far for that purpose. Where can I possibly place an order? Thanks.

Does anyone know where to rent a 4x4 in Tuguegarao? What prices should I expect? Would it be safe / ok to drive it ourselves to Vigan, through Kalinga region (and back through Claveria)?
Thanks for any tips!

Any Lodgin w/ kitchenette? Posted: Fri April 11, 2008 10:58 PM UTC
Hello all! We're planning a trip to Camiguin and staying for 2 months. Was wondering if anyone knows of any cottages or pension houses or any rental that has a kitchenette? Two months is kinda long so I don't think I'll want to eat out everyday. Every once in a while it would be nice to pick up stuff from the market & cook it myself. Thanks!

Going to Cagayan/ Taguegarao City Posted: Fri February 29, 2008 04:22 AM UTC
Hi VTers,
We are two Indian families staying in Manila and are planning to drive to Cagayan during March 20-23 holidays. I know its a long drive but we hope to see the country side rather than flying down. I will appreciate help on:
- is the drive enjoyable e.g. road quality, seeing the country-side etc.
- how to reach Cagayan by road (any helpful tips, route planning details, distances etc)
- any places of interest en-route
- where to stay e.g. Ivory Hotel, Casa Cayag any other recommended hotel
- white water rafting and other interesting activities that can be done
- anyone we can link up with any one there
Cheers

Ilocos-Cagayan (Tuguegarao) escapade Posted: Mon March 19, 2007 07:33 AM UTC
Hi guys!
my friends and i are planning a one-week graduation trip to the ilocos-cagayan region. In particular we're taking the manila-vigan-laoag-pagudpud-tuguegarao itinerary. Does anyone know any good hotels the places we're planning to visit? More importantly, i can't seem to find a bus liner that can take us from laoag/pagudpud to tuguegarao. We're still deciding on whether we should rent a van for the whole week or should we just take the bus. Can someone please help us?
thanks so much!

How far is Cagayan from Manila Posted: Sat March 17, 2007 09:21 PM UTC
Hi,my name is Rubert, my wife and I will be traveling to the Philippines soon.
We wanted to visit Cagayan for sure, but our problem is we don't know how to get there.
I have some questions.
How far is Cagayan from Manila?
Is there any airport there?
How many hours is the travel by car from Manila to Cagayan?
And how's the weather? ( average temperature)
What's the spoken language or dialect?
And what's the best way to get there?
Thanks,
Rubert

Aparri-update Posted: Tue July 25, 2006 12:54 PM UTC
I have been terribly absent from this lovely place, I just want to request an update what are the latest. I know the san antonio beach but hey! is it like before? a little bit messy! and speaking of hotels, what I know is Aparri have three hotels if you call it a hotel well I called it just a simple lodging house, I just want to know the if the town has improved. you know when roaming around the market place at sundays it's like a feast of drunkards "mammartek" we all know that when somebody gets drunk he feels he is a king with 1 million life. I felt so bad about these things, now I do hope that at least the honorable town mayor must do something about these things not "pa-beauty effect lang" punish these shameless individuals.

Help in Itinerary Posted: Sat April 29, 2006 04:14 AM UTC
Hi everyone,
Can someone help me create an itinerary? I'd be leaving Friday night via Autobus and had to be back in Manila late Sunday evening (or early Monday). I've heard so much about Callao Caves that it's a must see aspect of the travel. But I would also like to go to other interesting places that are not as popular as Callao. I'd be commuting only, btw. And can someone give me an approximate expense?
Thanks!

Tuguegarao escapades Posted: Tue March 14, 2006 08:57 AM UTC
Hi there, about 20 of us plans to go to Tuguegarao City on March 31 to Apr. 02. I would like to inquire what are the must-go places in Tuguegarao, the best known places that I have heard of are Mt. Calvary, Callao Cave & Our Lady of Piat. Are there any more places that we should visit while we are there? Considering the limited time that we have, what should be the order of sites that we should visit?
Also, can you recommend a very affordable inn?
Will appreciate any of your kind suggestions.
Thanks a lot.
