Could you please tell me the best way to travel between Athens and Izmir?
Is there any ferry going from Athens to Izmir or other way around with a good deal with safety?

Hi, I am moving to Izmir in a couple of months and I am so excited! I have heard that the majority of the vehicles are small, compact cars. I have a newer Tacoma truck that I want to ship to Turkey. Can anyone tell me if this is a bad idea or not? Will my truck get all wrecked up, or should I purchase a compact car if I can? I appreciate any help, or tips anyone can give me!! Thank you!

Hello. I was hoping someone could help me with directions for public transportation from the otogar in Izmir to Konak, specifically, to near the Best Western Konak at Mithatpasa Cad No: 128, Konak. We will be traveling to and from the otogar several times, so we would like to figure out what bus to take to save some money. Thanks in advance for your help!

Iam planning to travel to Turkey and cannot decide between Izmir and Antalya.
I am looking for a nice beach vacation, where I can enjoy the beach, food, drinks, and local attractions. In Izmir, and would be staying at hotel Erythrai. Pictures look nice, but I am not sure about the beaches. Are the nice anc clean given that it is a bif port and a big city? Is it possible to swim? What kind of weather should I expect during the last week of may?
All feedback would be highly appreciated :-)

Hi does any body have a link to a commercial real estate agent. Both renting and buying of appx. 1000 sqm in Manisa area is interesting.

We are staying in Ismir March 26 and 27th and looking for resturants for dinner would like near water. We like seafood or local menu.
Is Cesme too far to travel for seafood dinner?
Also have afternoon to tour city any sugestions?

We intend to go mid April. The plan is to take an hotel in Izmir (we like big cities) and every day (with a rented car) to travel to another close/semi close destination (Ephsos, Pergamon, etc').
Is there a problem with driving around (trafic, bad roads, etc')
Any other recomendation?

I'm travelling to Izmir and would like to know of some good restaurants, bars, and nightclubs. Ive searched on the internet but the listings are very vague. Can anyone be more specific and tell me of some restaurants that serve good food traditional food. Also a few interesting bars perhaps with live music and where to go dancing late at night? Hello, I am moving to Izmir in November to teach English. I am an ex British military serviceman and I used to work at Sirinyer. I liked Turkey so much I am retiring and moving back! I am looking for a 2 bed apartment in the Alsancak area. If anyone could help I would be grateful. I have heared that there is a central bus station in Izmir and from there buses to different part of turkey. How do I get there and how much does it cost to get there. I'm moving to Izmir this fall. I'm taking the ferry from Italy. How long is the drive from Cesme? Are there any tolls? I would like to rent a house; as I have a Chow-chow. Where is a good area that would give me a nice size fenced in yard for my dog?

in July I am hoping to go to Kusadasi for a couple of months to stay I was hoping people could help me find a place to stay and how much it would cost. Also if there is any work I would be able to do over there as I am a nursery nurse and after three months how could I renew my visa as I know that after three monthsw you have to renew your visa.
