Would just like to ask if anybody knows a transient house in Vigan or Pagudpud. My family and relatives are planning to visit sometime end of the year and if we would check in at any resort or hotel it will cost us alot. We need a place that could accommodate 25 people.

My husband & i will tour vigan, laoag and pagudpud on may 10-12, 2008, we would like to know the following:

1. coming from vigan city via bus or jeepney, where do we stop (place & landmarks) to reach cabugao beach resort?

2. we want to swim/take our lunch (2-3hrs stay) at said resort, do they accept walk-in day tour clients? how much is the rate?

We plan do half day tour at Vigan and go to Laoag and go to Paoay - Batac and Paoay Cathedral and go to Pugudpub.
What is the last bus from Laoag to Pugudpub? Is the time enought for finish all the above mention place?

Can intro the burget accomdoation at Vigan?
Our burget is less than Php1,000 for twin sharing room.

My husband and I will be staying in vigan for the holy week. well actually ...we'll arrive by saturday then we'll be off to manila by monday. so, I'm just wondering if there are anything to do there during that time coz in other provinces everything is close during lenten season. thanks

i know ive already asked some questions on here but am really not satisfied with the answers..please help me!

This will be my first time visiting northern luzon..I will be flying in from laoag arriving at 8:55 pm on march 8 so i might just stay overnight in laoag..then the next morning drive off to vigan and pagudpud..i have whole 2 days to roam around so is it possible to do sidetrip to banaue and sagada? i only want to see the famous banaue rice terraces and the sagada hanging coffins..i know there's a lot to see in sagada but i dont have much time for it..at least i could only see the hanging coffins..i dont know where my exit will be going back to manila..will it be in laoag again or baguio then? i want to be in manila before 4 pm on march 11..is it really possible or what? and is there a private car service that i can hire to tour these places?

Could anybody pleeeease help me on the following:

I will come with a friend to Laoag (arrival at 12.55 by plane from Manila) and would like to go with the bus (or any other transportation) down to Vigan. From there to Baguio (gonna fly from there back to Manila) via Banaue (rice fields). My question is the following:

1. Which bus I have to take from Laoag to Vigan? Any timetable or location of the bus station?

2. Is there any possibility to stop at another places like Illocos Norte or La Union for surfing?

3. With which bus I can get to Baguio/Banaue?

4. How long the trip Laoag - Vigan - Banaue/Baguio will take me?

5. i have some surf equipment with me. Is there enough space for some boards?

Would be great to get some feetback :)

my friends and are planning to visit ilocos norte and ilocos sur. my first and top priority is to have picture at banaoag bride. is there a public utility vehicle na nagstop malapit dun na pwede naming lakarin papuntang bridge or wala talaga?

2nd question is meron po bang nakakaalam na murang inn either laoag or vigan? at kung meron po may contact number po ba kayo?

3rd question is kung dala-dala na po namin ung gamit namin sa vigan meron po bang pwedeng pag-iwanan ng gamit para di na namin dadalhin habang nililibot kami ng vigan?

I have only half day of Sat to explore Vigan and 1 full day of Sun to explore Laoag, nearby towns and Pagudpud. Is this feasible?

Which sites should I prioritize/not miss given my limited time in these 3 areas?

Is it adviseable to travel by bus from Laoag to Vigan and back. Are there lots of buses/vans available? Until what time is the bus from Vigan to Laoag?

Any suggestions on good authentic ilocano food in laoag/vigan to try?

I'll be taking my first trip to the Northern Luzon area in a couple of months and was wondering which route to take. I'll be flying in to Laoag, taking a bus to Vigan and then not sure which way to go. Is there a direct bus to Banaue? I'm interested in visiting there and the Sagada area then going back to Laoag. Are there decent hotels in Candon City? Will swomeone give me their telephone or email address? We want to go to Santiago, Ilocos Sur but I understand the hotel in Sabangan beach is under renovation. If not, who is the contact person or email adderess for that Sabangan Hotel?

i will visit vigan city on dec 7 and 8 of this year. i will be there to take pictures and attend the mangan tayon event with is a food event. after that i will visit laoag city, so i will leave vigan first thing in the morning. so here are my questions:

1. what time is the earliest bus trip from vigan to laoag? which bus liner and how much is the fair?

2. from laoag's city proper, how do i go to paoay church and how much is the transportation? do i get there by bus, jeep, or tricycle?

3. what are the places i need to see in laoag city and what are the other attractions near paoay church?

4. what time does the last bus from laoag to manila leave? how much is the fair? do they have a 10pm or 11pm bus to manila? so it not be dark when i get back to manila? is there a deluxe partas bus liner in laoag? how much? thank you?
