Hi there, im going to Murcia in a couple of weeks and was wondering if there is anywhere in Murcia to rent a moped or quad bike? I've searched the interent but no luck. Also, if i can't get a lift from Alicante airport to Murcia then i will be getting a taxi. Can anyone tell me how much this will be roughly. Thank you.

I am looking for some advice.
My partner and I have flights to Murcia in mid June and we were meant to be staying at a friends Dad’s house in Cabo Roig with said friends, however they have split up and we are unable to stay there.
I really don’t have a clue what to do as the flights are with Easyjet and they won’t offer a refund (we could change the flights for a fee).
Can anyone recommend somewhere that is near Murcia which may suit us?
We are mid 30’s and LOVE good food.
We are not looking for lively and I really need somewhere that is interesting historically and interesting from a photographer’s point of view.
I would appreciate any suggestions and if anyone knows of places to stay that would be great too!

Hello can anyone tell me how to get to Seville from Murcia by public transport. I don't mind if it takes a long time, but I have already booked my accommodation in Seville, although it's not the same day as my flight so have lots of time.

I am flying out to murcia airport and am staying in bullas.... am I able to get a train to bullas from the airport ? cannot see that there are any rail links. Is a taxi my only option ? If so what sort of cost am I looking at ?

By all accounts public transport at Murcia is not wonderful. Los Alcazares is not too far and we are will therefore use a taxi. Can anyone tell us whether taxi's are readily available at the airport, or do we need to book in advance. How much would one reasonably be expected to pay for a 10 minute taxi journey?

We know it is a quiet town, but I was wondering if there were any good bars or even clubs there? Also, if anyone could recommend a good restaurant it would be much appreciated!!

Am arriving at Murcia airport at 10.00 in the morning (September 07) and leaving two weeks later at 10.30 am I haven't been able to find any suitable buses to take us to Puerto de Mazarron and the airport transfers I've checked out are ridiculously expensive. Does anyone have any sensible suggestions as to how we can do these journeys? There will be two of us. Cartagena looks as though it's in between the two places. Are there buses to and from there?

I assume because according to the renfe website, they don`t do that route.

However, I can´t seem to find the name of the bus company (I'm flying into the Murcia airport). Can anyone help with that?

I am finding it difficult to find out about any public transport available in the area. We are staying at La Manga Club and would like to visit Murcia and Cartagena. We will not be driving and there will be six people in our party. Does anyone know if there are bus or train routes available between La Manga and these towns?

Murcia looks good. Plenty of nice architecture. But I don't see any people in any pictures!

Is there any socialising to be done in Murcia?

I would like to spend evenings mingling with locals and sampling local wines & tapas. However, there seems to be scant mention of such delights occurring in Murcia.

Are there any lively areas for an evening's indulgence??

I am staying at Polaris World Mar Menor for a week at the end of July. It will be my 50th birthday while we are there and I would like to go for a really nice meal with my family - husband and two kids aged 18 and 15 (youngest will only eat plain food!). Has anybody got any recommendations for a restaurant not too far from the resort - we don't mind spending a bit more than usual for something special.

I am considering a move to Cartagena, Spain, having visited on vacation a couple of times. I am looking on information on what are the best areas to live in, crime rate, security etc. I have a preference for living in the city rather than in the suburbs as I love the port area, architecture, atmosphere etc. Any info would be appreciated. Our first foreign holiday with the children (age 8, 5, 2 !!) is bearing down on me fast! We have 2weeks booked at a friends villa in Mula, near Murcia.
Does anyone have any reccommendations or tips for things to do with the children in the area. We have access to a car for the stay and are certainly willing to drive to the coast(an hour I am told?).
Terra Mitica Theme park and Aquopolis water park have been mentioned.

I've found a list of hotels in los Alcazares but can't find any sites to book them, do you know of any?
I've found appartments in Roda, is that near?
Is Santiago de la Ribera close to Los Alcarares?
Can you suggest any other places to stay?
