I am told that ladies living alone are not allowed to go out alone except with a male escort. And they have to wear purdah covering themselves up fully. Is it true? If I have to wear purdah, can I come there and buy it or should I be wearing it when I get out of the flight? How are the shops there? Are there any Indian foods and other items available? Are there any Indian ladies living there?
