are there any transportation at Laoag International Airport during the night? we'll arrive thre 8pm. i'm afraid we'll be stranded for a night because i've read in a blog that there is no taxi at Laoag, though jeepney/tricycle will do, i would want to confirm if there are jeeps/tricycle even at night... thank u in advance.. :D

Would anyone please know if there are entities, even persons in Laoag (or Vigan) where I can rent a motorbike (with driver) to roam around the province? Am not too keen on riding/driving myself alone as am not too familiar with what to see and where to turn - thus, the driver can be my guide too!

Motorbike is my most preferred, but if there'll be none I can go for a car, and if none still... can a tricycle roam the province and Ilocos Sur?

First time I roamed there years ago, we were on a van straight from Manila and it felt like we were real tourists (not good hehe). Second time, a friend and I went jeep riding from Laoag to everywhere (fun but we ran out of time). This time am alone and just got 2.5 days and 2 nights. And oh, this time I'll have a camera hehehe (just a P&S). And am too ambitious to want to cover everything from Patapat down to Candon if possible.

Any suggestions please?

my husband n 3 kids ages 12, 9 n 6 are going 2 laoag via pal on may 24 arriving 11:15am. We are checking in at fort ilocandia n will b going 2 pagudpud d following day. We will stay at apo idon beach resort for 2 nights n head back 2 laoag on may 27 for our 11:55am flt to manila . Can anyone help me on how 2 tour vigan, laoag n pagudpud? Is there a van/jeep/car we can rent 4 our whole stay there? How much is d rate? It will b better 4 us 2 rent a van/jeep/car so there will be no hustle in transferring fr one place 2 another if we take public transport since we got 3 kids. Do u think we can go 2 vigan on our first day n tour d place 4 d whole afternoon den tour laoag d ff day b4 we head 4 pagudpud? Any suggestions will be a big help. Thanks!

We're going to laoag this april. can anyone tell me if its possible to visit these places for a day starting early in the morning until 6pm? because we were planning to spend the next day in pagudpud till we fly back to manila.

then Back to laoag hotel. what time is the last bus vigan-laoag? is it partas?

hi..me and my bf wants to visit laoag for the first time...can anyone help us with the itinerary for laoag-vigan-pagudpud trip on march 8-11..We'll be arriving in laoag on march 8 at 7:30 pm via cpa..is tiffany hotel a good place to stay? i was thinking of fort ilocandia but i dont think its reasonable since its already nighttime when we arrive and the following day want to tour the city..but im not familiar with these places so please help us with the itinerary..how can i get a city tour? are there cars for rent? self drive maybe? tiffany hotel offers a whole day tour laoag to vigan for 5,000 pesos per day..is that okay or much cheaper if we will rent a car outside of the hotel? my flight back to manila will be at 12:00 noon on march 11.. much help will be greatly appreciated

hello! can anyone help me with my first trip to luzon on march? I will be flying in from Laoag as i want to see the historical spots in Laoag and then go to Vigan, to Pagudpud, Banaue rice terraces and in Sagada..do you think i can make it all in 3 days? im leaving manila for laoag on march 8 at 6:25 pm via Cebu Pacific Air..maybe stay for the night in laoag then the following day i'll start my escapade..i will have 2 whole days for the trip as my exit will be in Baguio on March 11 at 10:40 am flight..there's a flight to Manila from Baguio via Asian Spirit..can i hire a car in laoag? how far is mountain province from baguio? any help will be much appreciated! thanks

Does anyone here have stayed at the Nipa Beach Resort? and how clean are the rooms, and their rates? how far is it from Laoag City, it says in my information book tha it is about 19 miles away from the Laoag Airport....

I have only half day of Sat to explore Vigan and 1 full day of Sun to explore Laoag, nearby towns and Pagudpud. Is this feasible?

Which sites should I prioritize/not miss given my limited time in these 3 areas?

But me and my friends have a itinerary for our june trip : 1 & ½ day in Pagudpud adventure then ½ day Laoag tour (12-5 PM Visit Juan Luna Musuem, Marcos Mausoleum, Marcos Museom, Paoay Church & Lake, Malacanang of the North, La Paz San Dunes, Laoag Shinking Bell Tower, Baccara Church. I'm from Tarlac and my family is planning on a road trip to northern part of Luzon focusing on Laoag,Vigan,Pagudpud, for 3 days then Banaue,hundred islands (baguio is only included if we had to) for 3 days. I don't know where to go first,or what should be seen first so if anyone has any tip on how we are going to make this trip in 7 days maximum, please help us out. We have arranged 3 days hotel reservation in laoag, but im still in the process of looking for deals and stuff for other places, so any tips would be greatly appreciated.thanks

Also, do you think its worth it to stay in fort ilocandia resort for 3/2 nights for 9000?is there any other place cheaper but of the same standard and also close to Vigan,laoag,pagudpud?

I"m traveling to Philippines in March, a travel agent just told me there are no more domestic flights from Manila to Laoag, does anyone know if this is true? If it is, what is the best bus to take and how long is the trip? Thanks a lot!

Where can I avail of a self drive car rental in Laoag? Can I have the contact numbers and if possible their rate.

I would want to drive it to pagudpud since I've read that there are some amazing views on the way that are hard to reach using buses.

I read in in one of the forums that there was a van for hire but we are only 3 in our group and maybe it would be cheaper if we rented a smaller vehicle instead.

Or if anybody can give me a suggestion on the best mode of transportation to pagudpud from laoag, allowing us to visit the Bangui Windmills and the Cape Bojeador Light House.

How can i get to Laoag main city from the airport? Any taxis, buses,or jeepneys roaming aroung to take passengers in the main city of laoag?
