is there have a halal and delicious food in kota bharu?...

i'm going 2 kelantan in august 13-19th 2008, i'm planning to stay at PCB and also in Kota bahru. My ? is, is the HB Village OK?What is the cheapest/safest hotel in KB which is a walking distance to pasar mlm, bank, transportation n all the cool places there?
Also, where do i go to eat the BEST nasi kerabu, nasi dagang, nasi ulam, etc-etc in KB?
Is Sg. Golok worth going?

I am a Singaporean. Lived and bred in Singapore, a modern city. I am thinking of visiting and staying in a a true Malay kampung, run through the paddy fields, go to the kampung mosques, eat nasi lemak kampung style and many more. Any kelantanese can help me?

I searched Virtual Tourist Kelantan's website and I clicked on various kampungs, but not much information was available.

In short, I want something like a homestay. Any tips?

I'm going to visit Krabi on 12-16.02 and would like to go south via Kota Bharu
to Taman Nagara then KL
Could anyone give me any info about how to get from Krabi to Kota Bharu.

Is it easy to get from the train station to Kota Baru? Or the station is in Kota Baru itself? Not really clear bout the geographical details.. thanks

n it dangerous to travel in Dec? cos of the monsoon seasons.. how much would Kota Baru be affected? I assume we can't go on any boat tours...

Can anyone please tell me if it's easy to travel to Bangkok from KB by train? I have heard a sleeper leaves from a town across the border arriving Bangkok the following morning. Is it easy to get from KB to the train? And has anyone any experience of the train. I'd like to take the Ist class sleeper. Any help is appreciated
